Meet Ed and shook his hand as well after the show. Let my love is still stuck in my head! Great great show - Amazing theater. Well worth the 10 hour drive - I only wish I could have seen more. Meeting Ed rendered me speechless for about 5 minutes before I came up for "that was fucking awesome". Thanks Eddie for spending Father's Day eve with "us fucks!"
Joe, this is Jim from Detroit. We met at the pre party. Just wanted to say hello and nice meeting you. That was a heck of an evening huh?
To everyone I met that day - Thank you! It was a blast and Melissa thanks so much for the wonderful pre party
Josee, Melissa, Brandon, Michelle, Butch, Angie, Joe, Randy, Angela, Daniel, Rob, Keith, Melissa, Nicole, Chris.....So great to meet you all and hope to see you in Toronto/Chicago.
Hey Jim, it was very nice meeting you and the rest of the Michigan contingent as well. I share your gratitude to Melissa for the awesome pre-party. I look forward to seeing everyone in Chicago.
Simply breathtaking. Mind was racing with curiousty about seeing Eddie solo. This was the best show I have ever seen. I brought someone who likes pj but doesn't know alot of thier music, and now is one of the biggest eddie vedder fans you will ever meet. The show was simply amazing. Thank you Eddie for the 3rd row seats! I am still on a high just thinking about the trip we had to memphis to see this show. Im almost tempted to get tickets to go see them in Atlanta in a couple of days. This was a great show and I have seen alot of pj shows. Everytime I see Eddie live it makes me just want to quit my job, take my savings, and go on the road to follow him for awhile! Thanks for the show and I will see you again my friend. ST LOUIS WANTS AN EDDIE VEDDER SHOW! COME BACK TO STL! PLEASE!
I loved meeting everyone at the party. Wish I had been with you all at the Peabody but I had the worst migraine.
Melissa Thanks for letting me help out at the party, I had so much fun!
The show was just wonderful.

So, I know the show is just barely over and I'm still reeling from meeting Eddie after the show. But...does anyone know if they do the bootlegs of Ed's solo shows like they do for Pearl Jam? Just curious and already dying to relive the show!!

nope, no official bootlegs of Ed's shows :(
but if they chose just one show to do... i would say this would be the one!!!
what an incredible, wonderful, love-filled evening.
gorgeous venue, great seats, happy/friendly people, generally well-behaved crowd...
amazing setlist... and ed was in perfect voice and charming as ever.
(edit: i cried during Walking the Cow, MIllworker (gorgeous!!) and I Can't Help Falling In Love (PERFECT!)...
other favorites: Forever Young, Porch, Throw Your Arms, Guranteed... oh, never mind... it was all perfect)
shaking his hand before and after the show was the cherry on top of the icing on a luscious, delicious cake!
hugs to our new friends , pearl jam peeps are the best...
Just wanted to say that the show was absolutely great! I hope that in the future Eddie continues these type of tours. I didn't get picked for tickets by the Ten Club but still managed to buy great seats from ticket master the day they went on sale. I was front row section B on the Mezzanine and it was a great seat because there was not another seat in front of me! I live in the Memphis area so I have been to the Orpheum several times and I know how uncomfortable those seats are in that place Your knees touch the seat in front of you......By the way,I was kind of low on cash and didn't get to buy a poster or water bottle. Do you guys think they will sell that stuff here on the Ten Club?

Last year after his tour they did sell his stuff so hopefully they will.
I'm looking for the same things a water bottle and posters. I forgot to get a bottle and didn't want to get posters because I didn't have a tube with me.

Words cannot describe how amazing this show was!!! I got tickets through the fan club, and was on the 7th row. I didn't know what to expect with a solo show, but it far exceeded anything I could have imagined!! Eddie is the greatest!!! My husband and I waited after and got to shake his hand!! Awesome night!!!
Drove 13 hours from Minnesota to go to this show to see EV solo for the 2nd time since NYC last summer.
We walked past the venue the afternoon of the show to check out the Orpheum, and there were already people gathering around the tour buses. Some people told us they had heard of a scruffy guy taking off on a motorcycle from that area, so they were waiting for him to get back. We didn't because it was too hot and we didn't want to be creepy.
Right around the time Ed was leaving, we happened to go to the Peabody to check it out as we had heard a lot about it but we didn't run into anyone.
It was my gf's first show and at first she was skeptical when I told her it wouldn't be the same as a PJ show (ie. not as much standing, singing along, etc). But she loved the intimacy of the show and how he talked to us about his family and whatnot.
Hearing the Elvis tune especially, was worth the 1600 mile drive.
Memphis was my first solo show but I really liked the manageability of small scale of everything. I can't imagine this happening to me at a Pearl Jam concert. When we arrived in the city around noon we just wandered around in the car around and then at a traffic light I turned my head to the left and I see 2 tour buses parked right next to me. Then 5 minutes later at another light the bus was in the left turn lane and we were just right there. It was just so casual to me for them to be right there yet I wouldn't expect it to be like that in many other places or a big arena. I'm used to West Palm shows and maybe it's like that there, too, but you might have to look for it more. Here it was just there. Then after the show I was just walking the parking lot waiting for my ride and I saw a bunch of people waiting around for some reason so I went over to check it out and they were all waiting for Ed. At the Atlanta show it was a bit more in the back I saw as I was driving back. I didn't stay to meet him, but it was a good show.
Good show. I wrote a bunch of it on the other laptop and I have no internet access. I might write a better review when I get home and am not in a big city where I can do other things instead

Hello my name is Kathy and I am a California girl born and raised, long long long time Pearl Jam fan. My friends and I traveled from Ca. to Memphis so I could see Ed, (couldnt get a ticket for Los Angeles) I will say that I have seen Pearl Jam many many times over the years and everytime I am blown away. I must say seeing Ed for the first time solo took my breath away, I'm telling you he hit that stage and I was in tears, his voice just moves me inside and out. The Orpheum Theater is a fantastic venue, with the excection of t-shirt lines and beer lines, and it was really HOT!!!! We met people from all over, Texas, Michigan, Iowa, Idaho, and they really could not have been any nicer.I too had an amazing night and Ed if you ever read this just know that this fan will be a fan forever! Kudos!!!!!!!

hi kathy, blew me away that you came from cali to memphis, i love cali. jus wanted to say hi and glad you made it and had fun..ya, the smaller theater setting with eddie so accessible is mind blowing, considering how far away and huge it's all gonna seem once the whole band goes back out. i'm thankful as hell he does this for us..you guys have a fun, safe trip back, k? bye!
It has been almost a week since the show and I just wanted to keep the Ed/Memphis love alive for at least one more day.
I think the love for Ed in Memphis is gonna stick with a large group of us for sometime. I wonder if he did the flip into the big foot chair at any of the other shows?
I wish I were the verb "to trust" and never let you down

He didn't on Nashville Night 1.

I was at the show also and was lucky enough to shake Eddie's hand before and after the show. I was the one that ran up there and got a handshake when he got off the bus. Eddie was nice enough to walk over and shake my hand so that his bodygaurd wouldn't rough me up . I told him he needed to come back and see us at Little Rock and he said I know. I was also in the line to meet him after the show and was the one on the end where he started at. I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him and he said all man you did good and smiled. I'm guessing he was refering to me stealing a handshake before the show while my wife was standing by taking pictures. I froze up after that and couldn't tell you what I said to him but I spent the next week or so thinking of all the things I wished I had said . I always enjoy meeting all of you 10c brothers and sisters and hearing of how far away some have traveled from. PJ fans are the best. One guy was rude I thought telling me to get behind the line when I was trying to hear what the security guy was telling everyone to do before Ed started going down the line. I would like to say thanks to the guy that relayed to me what was said that was standing next to that guy because I can't hear as well as others. I hope to see all of you guys soon.
Been working, for the most part, ever since I made the treck back to Illinois from Tennessee. So, I haven't had a chance to post until now. Wow! What a great show and memorable night. Got to hear a lot of stuff, which I didn't think I'd get to hear on that particular evening. "Can't Help Falling In Love" was great to hear live, as was "You're True" (that one eluded me at the other Ed shows I went to). Ed introduced "You're True" by telling a cute story about Olivia, Jill, the recording of the Into The Wild soundtrack, and the bear from the movie. "Santa Cruz" with Liam was an unexpected treat. "Forever Young" was great too. Liam emerging for the 1st encore wearing no shoes, and a giant clown head is an image that I don't think will ever desert me (the clown head was placed on Ed's foot chair, facing the crowd, during "Society" and "Throw Your Arms Around Me", and promptly returned to Liam's head before he left the stage). Great night... Hopefully, some bootlegs will be released in the future. I wouldn't object to hearing any of this performance again.
