I never understood the whole Juno thing. I thought that movie was highly over rated.

To me it was totally pointless.

Because you're not a ki... Wait, nevermind, I guess you must be right, it was pointless. But that litle canuck is as cute as a button. I liked it.

I just can't for the life of me believe what MTV has become. The sad thing is that today's teenagers probably think that it was always like this. And it's not just that they don't play music videos anymore...because today's popular music sucks anyway. But they used to have cool non-music shows in the 90's like Singled Out, MTV Sports with Dan Cortez, Idiot Savants, and Celebrity Deathmatch to go along with music shows like 120 Minutes, Headbanger's Ball and Yo MTV Raps. I've gotton to the point where I don't even want to make fun of the kids who watch today's MTV because I truly feel sorry for them.

before you go feeling sorry for me let me just clarify that my interest in today's MTV is strictly morbid curiosity... I guess that makes me just as guilty as the "tweens" that voted miley cyrus over bruce springsteen for that stupid award show... I just like to remain culturally relevant for the sake of comedy and as a future teacher I think its good to relate to kids... even if culture as I know its a thing of the past

theres just no way of having a true music channel thats impervious to corporate greed... even if it did it would become as obnoxiously hipster as urban outfitters almost instantly... just the opposite extreme... music is becoming more and more a thing to be enjoyed by yourself IMO - the songs themselves are the only things with any sincerity these days

Thanks for that whole "kid" commit. ;)

All in all a lot of my peers liked it. I saw it when it first came out, I understood the concept to the movie but I couldn't for the life of me figure out the point. Seemed like it got way to much hype.

"Girl gets knocked up - Girl finds family for baby - Girl falls for older husband? - Girl gives baby to wife - Girl gets back with boyfriend"

Then I am sure the next sequence would be "Girl gets knocked up again." Then BOOM Juno 2.

My favorite was the people who were turned on and would have sex in their Furry Costumes ! They all looked like 2nd rate mascots walking around and would have sex by putting holes in the costumes
DAMN... i mustve missed that one... sounds great
Here ya go. It was Sex2k, though True Life is/was a good show as well.

Furries are fascinating, as many fetishes are.

Don't forget remote control w/ Adam Sandler, The original Jon Stewart show.

MTV's had very few watchable shows lately. The only ones I liked were True Life, Jackass, Wildboyz, Rob & Big, and Pimp my Ride was fun. I just liked seeing Xzhibit fuck up everyone's car.

If I want a music channel I have to watch VH-1 Classic, Vh-1 Jams, Fuse, and Palladia. You have to have the super cable package to even get those.

I liked it to. It was a good story and it was funny. Plus there was some good music.

Although Michael Cera bugs me. I mean anyone could play his parts if they wanted.
