Habit is a great song. If I had to pick my least favorite PJ song, it would be Lowlight.

Can't believe this is even a topic. It's such a nice break for the album. Hard, heavy, angry and Ed's vocals are some of the best he's belted out on a studio album. Fantastic song.......speaking as a child of the 90's

I'm fine with Habit. Pearl Jam biggest flop of a song to me is Gone. Probably Ed's worst performance as a song writer. I would like to hear what it replaced on S/T's track listing.

I have to agree with the Red Mosquito thing, it is the perfect intro into Red Mosquito. And I do love me some Red Mosquito. :)

I think Gone is a great song. Reminds me a lot of the Who, and it tells a great story.

I love HABIT. Arguably PJ's "heaviest" song. I agree that the ending is the best part-- actually I like how the song almost ends a few times before it really gets into high gear at the end.

I wish PJ wrote more songs in drop D. Maybe on Backspacer?

How can you possibly say Habit is their worst song? I mean really, what the fuck? Huge bouncing riff and great vocals. The chrous isn't the greatest but you can't win them all.

I expecially like when he gets the battle, he uses the "calm down" or "your over reacting" comeback.

You know, cause jlew24asu is the shit, after all look at his posting numbers. Your not alowed to react negativley to somebody with that much power.

You think of all the songs they made through the years and you had to pick HABIT????

Hahahaha... I just don't get it...! Someone mentioned "Sweet Lew"?! But HABIT... DUDE, REALLY??? And don't talk to me about the jam at the end. The jam is just the icing on the cake. But the cake itself, it's the ENTIRE F... SONG!!!!!!!!!

I should start a thread on how much I LOVE HABIT!!!!!!! But I won't...!

lol what is it with you people? this is a pearl jam board. it should be a fun thing to debate what songs we like or (ready?) ...........dislike.

there is no need for hostile responses. so like I said, stop overreacting and calm down.

nah, I disagree. is that allowed? I'll talk to you about the end of the song. cuz that part rocks. the rest, sucks.

and like I said, Sweet Lew is not a Pearl Jam song. I refuse to acknowledge it 8-)
