With the new iPhoneOS 3.0 coming out next week I might get an Iphone 3G S
If any of you have an iPhone 3G and are wondering how good the new OS is, well. . .
Since ATT are being fuckbags and not opening up tethering and MMS it seems pointless and even a let down even updating to the new 3.0. I have a the Gold Master (a dev edition, basically a final version before they offically release it). ATT is actually holding the OS back not Apple
3.0 is suited for the new iPhone but since im not do for an upgrade till July I can wait
So the new phone came out today. Here's one of my favorite comments from a guy waiting in line overnight.
"I got on line at 2 a.m.," said Luis Palcios, 22, of New York, who was one of the first to emerge from the store with a new iPhone. "It was really early, but it was worth it for the video."

I love the journalism, espicially the part "since the recession began a year and a half ago"...its like "One Day the big bad recession came into town and took everyones jobs and money....stayed for a bit longer than anyone wanted then moved to the edge of the town til everyone got back on the gravy train and made some money"

Go to www.bing.com, search for "att wireless" and click on the link that has the cashback (35% off all AT&T online stuff right now). All you need to have is a free cashback account through bing, and you will get 35% of the purchase deposited into that account....you have to wait 60 days to get the cashback but well worth it.
You can get a new iphone 3gs (16 GB) for $130. Couple that with a premier plan (if you work with any company that has a deal with AT&T and you can get a discount on your monthly bill). For instance, I get an additional 15% off of the voice plan and data plan per month.
I thought it was too good to pass up so I went for it.

There is a much easier way of doing this. No need to downgrade iTunes then upgrade it.
