    Not sure we can expect Florida State to win 10 games THIS SUMMER (season starts in the fall) ... but whatever.

    I think someone will step up. I really like Ponder and he needs to have some success and get confident. I just hate that they play Miami right away. But it worked out well last year. :mrgreen:

    then Bobby Bowden(who needs to step down/retire real soon) cried & tried to regain those wins (while using illegal players) through the appeals to the NCAA

    Agreed. Bobby should have stepped down a while back. As long as Paterno sticks around, so will Bobby. Maybe loosing some of those wins will convince him to go ahead and leave. In the meantime, the fans suffer - for BOTH schools. We def have a hole to dig out of, but we've done it before. I read something like 6 scholarships over the next 4 years? Not a huge impact really.

    he has it in his contract that he's taking over no later than a certain year- can't remember exactly- but I wanna say 2012.

    Tennessee tried to get him last year and he turned that job down

    I would imagine they have Jimbo tied into a contract, I just didn't know whether the contract called for him to be Head Coach, I mean the REAL Head Coach. But I guess if other schools are trying to get him, they could buy his current contract out. I don't know if I can stand 3 more years of seeing Bobby act like he's coaching. I mean, I love the guy, but his day is done. I really like Jimbo. He needs to stick around.
