I brought it in for class movie time for a Violations of Women's Humans Rights class without watching it first, because it's a topic I'd already worked on and intended on using for a project, so I thought it'd be cool if everyone was up to speed on what I was talking about before I presented.

    Not watching it myself first was kind of a mistake, because I tend to get absorbed in films as I watch them, and this one had me shouting obscenities at the screen. Luckily, I wasn't the only one so it wasn't that bad. The whole class had a 5 or 10 minute vent-fest before we went into discussion. :|

    God Grew Tired of Us is another really good one.

    When I was watching PJ20 they were showing the Treehouse and Im like thinking to myself... here you are supposed to have this eco friendly home AND WTF is up with the non ECO anal retentive fucking white carpet made by the Koch Brothers? :nono:

    Watched a couple this weekend.

    The Elephant in the Room
    I knew I was going to get pissed watching this one, but watched it anyway. I ended up feeling heartbroken. Parts of the film are still on my mind today. I didn't expect to witness what I saw in this film. But did, and it sucks. Wild animals should remain wild. That said, I'm still super grateful to all of the animal sanctuaries out there.

    Followed that with The Parking Lot Movie
    "This is what's wrong with the world, you've got a sports car with an automatic transmission."
    Pretty good movie for a little Saturday night angst.
    My dad was a parking lot manager for awhile. I feel like..if he'd 'ad been working at The Corner Parking Lot, maybe things would've been diff'rent.

    This evening I watched The Hollywood Librarian: A Look at Librarians Through Film
    I think this sounds a little more fluff than it actually was. It covered some important privacy and marginalization issues. Plus, though I may not actually read that many books, the library is one of my most favorite spaces in the world, so I really enjoyed this one.

    What a documentary...just left the theater and literally the crowd was stunned. I used to love to go to SeaWorld...not sure I'll ever step foot there again :(

    Ive watched The Cheshire Murders twice. Once alone & then I made my husband watch it. Very good film.

    I knew what happened & I have always been for the death penalty. This film made me rethink so many things.
