Helmet - Aftertaste
Lot's of people list Betty as their favourite Helmet album but for me, it is Aftertaste. The flow of the album is top notch and leaves me coming back for more. If you like straight ahead punch me in the head guitar riffs over solid drumming with angry lyrics this album is for you! Who's with me on this

The genius George Michael
As Jim James in MMJ put it "George Michael is a fucking genius". Remember asking and getting both PJ Harvey - Stories from the city... and the George Michael - Greatest Hits double the year they were released from my mom. Saw his documentary a day ago, they aired it here in Sweden a year after his passing. Amazing artist.…

Joe Strummer: Gone 15 years now
December 22 was the 15 year anniversary of the passing of the most influential musician to me: Joe Strummer. The Clash impacted me tremendously in so many ways, both musically and personally. And Joe is the man who has the most to do with who I have turned out to be, 2nd only to my father (my mom was topmost influential).…

Christmas gifts (music related) ?
On my way to pick up Neil Youngs Harvest Moon on vinyl as a Christmas gift to my dad. He has the CD and I remember him playing it a lot when I was a kid. Must have been around Christmas time, because I and my siblings have always connected it to Christmas. Lately my dad has talked about how he's "given up on Neil", so…

As a casual fan who has the greatest hits and always liked what they did but never delved any deeper I think I am probably missing out some great songs/albums within their extensive back catalogue. New Moby
Anyone listened to the new album yet? Check out his trippy new video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy_oabU77GY I liked his last three albums - Play was a classic - but I think it was about time to get back to more uptempo stuff.
