rudeness, talking at shows

I swear to god, I was at Lollapalooza in 2008, and we were about halfway up in the crowd during RATM and there were people talking. During RAGE! And I won't even go into how people talk during the NIN Ghosts material. Performers should take a page out of Reznors book - someone threw a lighter at him during Hurt, and he kicked the keyboard over and stalked off and that was that. Just STFU and listen to the goddam show for crying out loud.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

I confess, I take pics at concerts :(
I am sorry.
but only big concerts, it's not allowed at the small ones I go to.

i really hope you say no. hehehe*~Pearl Jam will be blasted from speakers until morale improves~*0 -
I didn't really hear much chatting at the O2 last night. But one thing which really pissed me off was the amount of people just milling around the seating area
We had balcony seats and a pretty good view of the whole arena. Ok, so all night people were back and forth getting burgers and beers (although if you're paying nearly £50 a ticket to listen to the band play the room next door while you queue for a hotdog, then I think you have too much cash!) but when Life Wasted started it was like a mass exodus! Maybe it's just me, but I think it's rude. It's rude to the person next to you/behind you, that can't see while you go and get your 7th beer, and it's rude to the band.

i don't understand why people care about other people taking pictures unless they're using a flash or blocking your view with it. who cares how someone else chooses to enjoy their show as long as they're not causing a distraction to anyone else? i take a few pics at shows, not that many but really very little time is spent staring at the screendon't compete; coexist
what are you but my reflection? who am i to judge or strike you down?

Nothing worst than hearing people talking during gigs! Why go to gigs if you want to have a chat with your mates that you could easily do in a bar?
I remember seeing Mogawi a few years ago in Belfast and they were really pissed off with the crowd who were chatting away during their set! They said they weren't coming back but they did!0 -

haha i saw Mogwai again a few months ago and during 1 part this small group started getting really loud during a quieter part and the scowl on Stuart's face was hillarious!
i saw the Flaming Lips the other day and people were mostly quiet for their set but the first opener, Stardeath and White Dwarfs (Wayne's nephew's band) the guy right behind me had 2 friends join him and he was going on about how great he thought they were but didn't shut up their entire set! if you think a new band is so great why would you talk through it? i can understand initially talking to tell your friends how good you think they are but come on!
luckily they left during Explosions in the Sky's set and were quiet when the Flaming Lips starteddon't compete; coexist
