***The Official Show For Joe Fundraiser Event Page***

OK so everyone who knows me knows that back on Febraury 11, 2007, my brother Joe passed away while awaiting a liver transplant at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, leaving behind a wife, 2 children and a grieving community of family and friends. Joe was the greatest man that anyone who ever met him had ever met...I guarantee you that. Since then my family and I have used our sadness as a weapon and began the crusade of raising money for the Gift of Life in Philadelphia, an organ donation awareness group with a mission...to build the Gift of Life Family House, a place where families with loved ones awaiting life saving transplants could stay to relieve some of the costs incurred during the hospital stay for their loved one. The building was complete and opened just a few short months ago and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! NOW...since this February will bring the 5th anniversary of Joes passing I've decided to make it my mission to honor him in the ONLY WAY I know how...the bring together all of my family and friends to celebrate with the largest fundraiser I have EVER attempted....to support the Gift of Life Family House and help their adopt a family program

A place played by the likes of David Crosby, YES, Foreigner, and countless others...an amazing little theatre that holds up to about 1,200 people!!!

Now...this is where YOU come in...my intention is to secure the ballroom as well as the theatre for an amazing day of music, fundraising and rememberance...this is a HUGE undertaking for me and I'm giving everyone 4 1/2 months notice to plan accordingly..this is a Saturday night. I hope you can all attend. I hope to sell this venue out for the show and I intend on trying for some "special guests" as well as having some amazing bands play for an all day event.

OK..now...we will be having auctions and raffles and food and beer and whatever else I can swing...again..this is my babay and I intend it to be HUGE...but I need auction items, raffle items, volunteers, and suggestions for bands! Its going to be a long and stressful 4 1/2 months but I hope with everyones help I MIGHT just honor my brother I've always wanted

    What a nice thing to do to honor your brother. I work down the street from the Gift of Life Foundation and the Family House.

    Let me see what I have at home, I'm not much of a collector, so it won't be much. Maybe a holiday single or two.

    And I'll keep the date in mind, I'll let you know if I can attend as it get's closer.

    Hey Mike, We had the Baby! Emma Peal.. 6lb 2oz on 10/18/11. I'm gonna get the Hampton Print to you this week... :D . Nicole and I are looking foward to your event, its the first travel/party we plan on since the birth. Unless of course Pearl Jam has some kind of impromptu show in the NY metro area! ;) Looking foward to seeing you too Dave....
