    Ah, now I just need to learn the rules of rugby ... from what I can make of it, points are awarded randomly and every once in a while the ref blows the whistle so everyone can beat the shit out of each other in a huge pile.

    there are two codes of rugby... league and union... so please dont confuse the two. tho im thinking up til right about now you had no idea that there were 2 codes. the rabbitohs play league and though theyve not won a championship since 1971, no club has been able to catch up to them.. not even close really.. as for the rules... well... theyve changed over the years and sometimes i struggle to figure out those i consider bullshit. oh and scrums are just a joke.i dont know why they bother anymore.

    I wish Rugby would get more airplay in the US. It's so much more exciting than soccer. I took my son(10) to the USA Rugby Sevens Collegiate tournament in Philly last summer and he loved it.
