Hummus, Yield's hidden track

Has Hummus ever been played live? It's not listed in the songs directory here. I was just thinking it could be a fun way to open an encore, before blasting into a real opener, like Can't Keep or some such.

Anyone have any thoughts on this song?
10/31/93 Berkeley (Baba!), 10/1/94 Bridge School, 9/16/96 Seattle (In My Tree!), 10/19/96 & 10/20/96 B. School (Alt Corduroy & Alt Porch!), 10/25/03 B. School, 6/1/03 Mtnview (Crazy Mary! You Are!), 11/29/13 Portland (All Those Yesterdays! Even Flow!), 10/25/14 Bridge School (Rain! Fuckin Up! TOTD!), 5/13/22 Oakland (W.M.A.! Immortality!)

Of "those" kinds of songs, I think I would prefer to see them play a tribal version of Master/Slave or Aye Davanita to open a show. both of those could be incredible.

How about Writer's Block over the loudspeaker after a show ends & they've exited the stage?

I absolutely despise that typing. It has scared the crap out of me several times.

Hummus is such a happy little ditty!

(I believe it's a Jack-written tune...they should bring that badass boy back for it if ever performed live)

Never knew what the name for the track was. I always referred to it as the hidden track on Yield. I think the one in Binaural is referred to as typing... but yah.. didn't know the Yield one had a name.

    thanks :)

edit: btw I got a good laughing walking through a mall the other day when I saw a Yield belt buckle. too bad i'm not into belt buckles.. it looked pretty cool.

Using that as the walk on music for the Ten show was pretty awesome

I’ve played Parting Ways on a few bar jukeboxes and always forget Writer’s Block is attached to it.

So Parting Ways ends, bar gets a little quiet, people question if the jukebox is broken, then creepy typing noises build up. I’ve scared myself a few times doing that.

After several beers...that would be creepy.

(It's also a shame that digital versions of albums don't have alternative tracks that don't include the bonus tracks. Some songs make great white noise to sleep to such as Release or All Those Yesterdays.)
