Someone posted that a whole box was bought. Friend said she saw someone buy 50 of them and as a result soldout while she was in line
Would a purchase limit on these items be a reasonable thing to do? That would easily help combat that a ton if it was like limited to only 2 shirts per physical person in line, right? At least on those specific shirts
Should be a limit....that makes no fucking sense

Totally agree. Would love a set list shirt. Its a shame that they are being flipped like this. Everyone needs to comment here to keep this at the top. This should go for all merch really, but I’d settle for a few show specific shirts sold in the shop or to ticket holders. Let’s stop the madness.

If there is any piece of merch it makes sense to have a preorder for (or at least sell online), it's these setlist shirts. Consider:
*How many fans who attended the show are in proximity of the venue the next day?
*It can only be on sale for a day, maybe two, which makes it particularly agonizing to wait on line for hours.
*Because of the other 2 points, it's ripe for flipping.
Edit: Or is it at least possible to have a separate stand for these? Fenway had multiple stands in '16, but it seems like just the single shop in Seattle.
I will definitely not be buying any of the setlist shirts on ebay. I will be happy with my memories before I give in to a t-shirt flipper. Here's hoping TC comes through. Such an easy and guaranteed way to make some money for the charity. Hope they do it quick before that guy who bought the box of shirts can profit but might already be too late for that one.

People ahead of me were buying ten at a time. Only size they had left was 3xl so I bought it anyway just to have it. Hopefully can shrink it if not just have it as a souvenire.
Cut out the images and sew them onto a shirt that fits. Then cut out the extra layer after you sew it on... would be a one of a kind.

I was in the merch shop by around 1PM Saturday and they still had a lot of Night 2 set list shirts--even in size S--so not sure when the people who couldn't get them went, unless you are talking about Night 1 being sold out.
I would love a setlist shirt. But wasn't going to spend my vacation in that line.
Please support us supporting the city on our vacation. I didn't want to make the vacation about getting merch. We waited in line the day we got there. We didn't want to wait in another long line.
It would be awesome to make these available for Ten Club Members!
Those sold prices on the bay are so damn sad. It is a really nice shirt and a bummer more concert goers couldn't get one.

^^^^ Another solid argument for doing this. As someone noted about the Europe shows, following the band takes us to beautiful places we might not otherwise have visited. There was no way I was going to spend my time in Krakow waiting in lines, similarly there is no way I would go back to my adopted hometown and spend my time there in a merch line, no matter how much I'd like to have a shirt or a poster.

Sounds like a great idea. Preorder poster pack (one poster each show) and preorder setlist shirt. Win, Win all around.
I spent Wed AM in line for merch for 3.5 hrs. Why they would to make me go back in line for a setlist shirt. That just stresses and already slow and painful process.
Only other option is have a separate tent for setlist shirts so you got in and out.

My wife and I were behind a guy and his girlfriend when N1 shirts went on sale. He whispered to her that there were no limits. He purchased about 35-40 setlist shirts as well as many others. He gave the cashier a $50 for herself and left his CC for his GF and her to use. My wife posted photos of them on the FB group, and we told the tent manager about it. The cashier should have been immediately removed.
Why not put them online the next morning for 10club members only who had tickets to the show with a limit of 2. Give it a limited time window before opening sales up to any 10club member. Easy for them to be verify. Make some money on shipping Etc
I want to start a poll of what’s crazier: the price of a setlist shirt selling on eBay (I had to look to see what all the fuss was about: currently at $186) or waiting in line for hours to buy a shirt. Enjoy the cities you’re in guys. Forget the merch!

That's kind of it, right? Average sale price seems to be about $115. If you *really* want one, is 3 hours of your time worth $80?
I don't mind waiting a few hours for merch. I'll probably head up Friday afternoon and see what it looks like. I'm sure if will be a better situation around noon Friday than noon Saturday.

On the flip side, if you're going to spend that long in line, might as well buy as much as possible. Just poked around on eBay for a few minutes, found a dude selling multiples of a bunch of items from Seattle. If my math is right, he spent between $3000-4000, and could make nearly $4000 in profit. Not everything he's listed sold, but I'm pretty sure he's already made his money back, plus about $1500. He also has stuff from the Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and the Masters, so this is a business for this guy. Maybe we should go back to merch inside the venue?

My time's worth a lot more than that. But I'm not spending $186 for a t-shirt on Ebay, even though I value my time more than that, because I don't want to reward what I consider to be bad behavior. So I go without, and life goes on, and life's pretty good despite not having a setlist shirt or a poster. But if Ten Club is inclined to sell setlist shirts (or posters, or anything) online at a markup with extra proceeds going to charity, my credit card is ready and waiting.
