Saw it twice in 2008 (things were different then, indeed) at MSG and Mansfield and then again in Tampa (tremendously underrated show, btw) in 2016.
I listen to Tampa constantly (H2I, Little Wing, Getaway, My Father's Son, In the Moonlight, and just great versions of many songs)
My wife's first-ever show (she's been a fan for a long time, just never made it to a show). We picked a pretty darn good one for her first!
I would say so.
For sure. It was kind of a fluke that I ended up at this show but I'm happy I did.
You most certainly picked a helluva Florida show to do. But now I am curious as to how you ended up at Tampa only and not any of the other Florida shows?

Us too! The NCAA Frozen Four was the weekend leading into that show, and our plan had been to spend the weekend in Tampa, then rent a car and drive to Orlando for the following week (her family has a time share near Disney). When PJ announced the tour, we had the night of the Tampa show free, and tickets were actually pretty easy to get through TicketMaster (10c membership had lapsed). If they go back to Tampa, we will be there again!

I decided to extend my run one more show in the hopes that they would play my favorite song... highly unlikely as it had only been played maybe twice on the tour so far. but when Eddie started the following sentence.. I somehow instantly knew he was talking about HARD TO IMAGINE.. still my favorite show because of this. PJ20 is close 2nd.
Eddie- "This is one that maybe, (ah) two of you know, maybe 10 maybe 20. But we are playing it for the 10, the 20, the 2 that do know....if you at least want to know the title it's called "Hard To Imagine".
AMAZING
and then Chicago 8-24-2009 as the show opener... magical in its own right.
Ha... wow.. Exact same parallel experience... thought for a second that maybe I wrote that. Until the chicago part.
Tulsa 2014; played after Pendulum. Just outstanding

ahhh waited what seemed like forever to heart this live- The Vic was my first of now 4. I sweat it out in a awful handmade T-shirt in line that day. Holy crap was it hot, and the fabric paint I used was black and applied very thick so the sun heated it up like a brand all day long in that line. I like to think when Ed said for a fiend he was talking about me and my incessant requests for this song at the live shows I was attending.
I believe, and I quote, the shirt said, " PLAY H2I PUSSIES!" In my mind it worked so who is to tell me otherwise right?

I live in NYC and my friends owns a place in Orlando. I had a few days off between my old job and new one. Tampa was the only one I could fit in and I’m very happy I did.
