Wrigley 2 was an amazing night. It did lose steam when they played Last Kiss...but up until then, wow!

True, but Last Kiss was followed with Got Some, Comatose, and Even Flow with Sonic Reducer and Blood not long after...Last Kiss was just a breather.

Oceans and Footsteps were killer. My biggest shock was how good Let Me Sleep was from the first night. Not even in my top 50 PJ songs but that is by far the best version I've ever heard.
    98: St. Louis. 2000: Alpine. 2003: Chicago. 2006: Chicago Night 2, Milwaukee Night 1. 2007: Chicago (Lolla). 2009: Chicago 1 & 2. 2011: Alpine 1 & 2. 2013: Chicago & LA Night 1. 2016: Chicago 1 & 2. 2018: Chicago 1 & 2.

It's funny, if you go watch youtube videos of let me sleep, mike was playing the wrong notes for the first 10 seconds of the song. They fixed it on the boot and it sounds great.

Being up close the first night made me biased on Wrigley 1, but damn I see why Wrigley 2 is viewed so highly.

One of the best SoLaT's I've heard in a long time. You can tell Ed was pumped for this show.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Not a fan of this kind of Kiss-Alive-shenanigans. Haha.
If you were to buy one of the boots - which night should one buy?

    1) Definite - something that is certain.
    2) Defiant - resistant or uncooperative.

I love your message, but I (like so many people) feel like it's my responsibility to help with a very common misspell of the word "definitely." When most people read your message, they read it as "Night 2 uncooperatively kicked ass" or "...resistantly kicked ass" and it doesn't make sense.  Now, the interesting thing is, "defiantly" is a word, so when it's misused we read it as it's typed, and the sentence in which it's used gets thrown for a curve ball. Ok, I'm starting to beat a dead horse lol.
I'm doing this as a public service to everyone who spells that word incorrectly.  Better here, in a Pearl Jam forum, than in the workplace where incorrect spelling could be interpreted in a way to judge against you. I'm not judging. I just want to teach as my good deed for the day. I hope from this day forward, you never act defiantly in your use of the word "definitely", Attaway77.  Welcome it with open arms.

Back to the boots - Definitely picking these up!

From what I gather the first batch will be silver pressed.  Do they have to wait to figure out how many that is, and order them to be pressed?  Could be a little slower than the usual burn them on the fly method.   Unless the guessed at how many people would order them on the first day?

I ordered both shows on CD as soon as the newsletter was sent out and showed up in the shop. My order just says warehouse and no update. Didn’t know there are silver pressed or not. Probably should have just bought the downloads instead.

Thank you. Hopefully after this I will know how to spell my words correctly on the go, as well as having a definition. Something like:

    1) Pretentious - attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed.

I have welcomed this with open arms. Thank you again.

My understanding is the silver CDs hold up longer over time. Sound wise, there would be no difference.
