Love it.
Do we really still need an opening act?
Would be fine by me!
If not, I'd love Gaslight to open for them.

This
Or at least change them every 3 or 4 shows, so we're not lumbered with the same band 23 times...
I actually think this is the case. These shows are just Pearl Jam
DEGENERATE FUK
This place is dead

There has been no "opening act to be revealed later" or anything, but I think there will be an opening band.
My guess:
Gaslight Anthem or The Hives.
No opener in London, and PJ came on at, like, 8 or something. They basically started at the time the opener would have started...
Yep, I'm hoping QOTSA or NIN replace Pearl Jam at some point during the tour. Wouldn't want to see the same band 23 times.
Oh believe me... you would have found KOL w/o PJ... all you had to do was wait a few months for the radio stations to start forcing every other track from "Only By the Night" down our throats!
An evening with would be best
Please no re-formed grunge-era bands with new lead singers.
A new, up-and-coming band would be great. Think of the 2010 tour with Band of Horses and Black Keys, excellent choices.
For 2013, Local Natives would be my first choice, or something different like Delicate Steve. If they want to go in a punk direction, FIDLAR would be pretty cool.
Eddie and Eddie.
Finally someone besides Cornell that could handle Hunger Strike.

The Local Natives would be fantastic. They have a tour through these dates though. Ben Harper has nothing after September. The Frames would be cool. Kings of Leon has nothing on these dates, but they have some dates before and after shows that would require them to do a lot of traveling in a short amount of time. Band of Horses also has nothing planned. I just hope they have one.

I'd go with The Hold Steady, especially at Barclays. Brooklyn band for the Brooklyn shows.
