SubPop just announced their 30th anniversary party the same weekend as the rumoured Safeco show. Hope this happens!

    Nice! I was at the SubPop 20th, and saw Green River and Mudhoney. Maybe we'll get to see another Green River reunion.

    While technically true, if you've ever visited the the SubPop store in the SeaTac airport, it's got PJ merch everywhere. Posters, music, shirts, etc. I found it odd, but it's apparent that hey have some kind of relationship.

    The point of posting this was that another cool music event will be happening the same weekend, if they announce the Safeco shows.

    I highly recommend taking the water taxi over and walking if you plan on going to this one.
    It's a hike for sure but traffic is insane on Alki during a regular summer day regardless!

    I went to the 25th anniversary in Georgetown and it was pretty cool. Interesting moment of the festival happened at All City Coffee when I bumped into Tad Doyle coming out of the bathroom, lol.
