congrats as your kids will have a physical memento to remind them of memories for a lifetime. This is one of 3 current Ed picks that he started using in Europe. He has another Steelers one (white) and a "skull" pick. There's speculation as to why EV chose 88 for the pick as it was Lynn Swann's # (among other less famous Steelers players). Some say it's because George Webb like Pittsburgh etc. Some say it can't be Lynn Swann due to Swann's politics (different than Ed's). I'm not sure anyone knows what the 88 really references in all reality but Ed, G Webb and others close to EV.
You must have been right in front of us! The kids were really excited! Cool moment! Funny seeing Ed grab a pick and start heading toward them, then seeing several more kids and and he was like "fuck" and went back and grabbed a handful.
