25 years ago ... my silver anniversary ;-)

On June 5, 1992, I saw Pearl Jam for the first time. Although it is quite a long time ago, I can still remember many little things as if it were yesterday. The intro of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, the bottle that hitted Stone's head, or the way "Rockin in he free world" was played.

I went with a friend to the festival to see PJ. It was their first festival appearance ever.
The intensity is still impressive. The audience was wild.
After the show I said to the friend: To see Pearl Jam again and then die. Well, quite so it has not occurred ;-)

In the meantime, I've been touring almost every part of Europe just for Pearl Jam, I've seen them in the States and Canada or Brazil. Last week I saw Eddie. Thank God, my wife shares my passion :-)
In addition to the concert of 1992, the concert in Berlin in 2009 was one of my personal highlights as well as the last three concerts of the West Coast Tour in L.A. and San Diego, PJ 20 or just 1996 in Hamburg. I do not know how many people I've met around the world. E.g. Denise from Bellingham I met in an italian restaurant in Verona or Pantelis from Greece at the concert in London 2007. Many have become friends.
Because of Pearl Jam, I started collecting posters to expose them almost two years ago. It is really impressive how a band influences personal life.

    Sweet awesome story. My 25ths coming up too, July 21 1992 first time i saw Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Hasn't been the same since lol
