The people that have claimed America is the greatest thing ever are pretty much all banned or gone at this point. I have not seen anyone touting we're the best ever, but we're also not just some festering, war mongering, racist, bias, xenophobic, gun loving country, which seems to be the theme lately. We spend most of the time ragging on all of those things I just mentioned because they are clearly problems in this country yet. So you get one person trying to argue for the positives and it is immediately perceived as a claim to the US being the greatest ever? The poster even admitted there are several issues with the US as a disclaimer.

The pardon is also a finger in the eye of James Comey who appointed special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, who prosecuted Libby.
It also dangles pardons to anyone who has to testify in the current investigation of Russian election interference or newly suspected possible crimes.

But there are some and loads of different ethnicities in Canada. Hell, in Vancouver visible "minorities" are actually the majority now. So are you saying we can't understand American racism because we don't have enough of the two ethnicities that suffer the most racism in America, or what? Please clarify.
