Vault #3. With the price it's going for now, I feel I'm standing waiving a handkerchief as it drives off down the road further and further into the distance......

how much is it going for? I didn't know that it was more valuable than the other vaults
Wasn't that was the only one that was not available for public purchase? 10C only? I think that would explain the higher price.

I consider my collection complete, although technically I could still add:
    -Uncensored Angel
    -Soldier Field

Also, I don't have Sevens (no desire) and the only 7" singles I have are Merkinball and Given to Fly. Though I do have all the fan club singles.

Oh yeah, I also need OG Ten and Vs. I've only got the shitty reissues.
(I'm also only talking LPs. I don't collect 7" vinyl, so I have almost none of those)

I think I need some of the 7" from the Ten/Vs era, but I really can't be super bothered to track them down. Especially since I wouldn't be surprised if the 10c represses them seeing as they just did the No Code/Yield 7"s. I have all the other domestic official releases ( LPs, 10"s and 7") and some boots on wax.

I need the 12" singles and that's about it. Tracking everything down over the last decade or so has been fun. I'm not really looking forward to finishing up because of the "now what?" feeling that I think I'd have after.

Complete studio albums. I had Lost Dogs and like a spaz sold it. I regret that one deeply. I started to do the vaults but I like lots of bands and wanted to be able to add other albums to my collection. If I had to choose between spending $50 on a vault album or a psych album it will be a psych album every day, all day! No need for a Benny, though if reissued I'd get it.

Agreed. There are just too many of them, and they are a pain in the ass to spin. I just don't see the point unless a 7" is the ONLY way you can listen to the song. I guess if you're the kind of person to listen to the same song 10 times in a row, obsessively, then a 7" might make sense. I am not one of those people, lol, but I remember I got obsessed with the song Candle in the Wind by Elton John when I was about 10 years old, and I would spin the single over and and over and over again, and that worked well, haha.

nothing.. I finished my collection when I acquired an original Live at Soldier Field promo vinyl last year (which has questionable audio quality for anyone else going after that one).

It was 1998 that my fandom stepped up a notch. So it was 1998 when I started hunting down the vinyl and back then I found it really easy to find the first 5 albums on vinyl. After that I kept buying them as they came out. LO2L, Binaural, Riot Act, Rearviewmirror, Benaroya, Lost Dogs etc... The Soldier Field promo was the only one I really paid out any serious money for.... and that was the OCD completist collector in me.. lol.

Still missing Binaural and Riot Act (and my Avocado is one of those colored vinyl bootlegs), and i would love to have Vault 3, Soldier Field and a Benny, but being able to spin 8 of 10 studio albums is pretty good for now. I bought both Deluxe boxes, LO10L , Live at Third Man and Vaults 4, 5 and 6 so that makes 7 live albums as well. Singles are fun to have, but tiresome to spin.

Yeah, there's a few colors floating around. I've seen pink, yellow, teal, & red and I think there may be a couple more. The original is a light mint green, like the color of toothpaste (much lighter than the teal colored bootleg).
