Lexington and both Wrigley shows for sure, but I've almost got myself talked into heading down to Florida for a couple. And of course, if any more of the "rumored" dates or a PJ25 happens.... So that's 3 Official and up to let's say 8 including un-official and non-announced so far imaginary shows. lol

very cool. hope to run into you at some of the shows!!!

All my friends think I'm crazy for the number of shows I've been too, but then I come here and feel much more sane. :)

Most people's jaws drop when I tell them that I am going to both nights in Toronto. The insanity of it all!
Jaws drop over 2 in a row? Lol...I'm in California and have to go east for all 8
For ever PJ or Springsteen there's 20 U2's or Metallica's (or their pop music equivalents). Playing different shows on different nights is a really rare thing. Most bands play the same show (give or take a few songs) every night. I like Foo Fighters, U2, Metallica etc.. but I don't feel the need to see them multiple times on a tour. It's the same show. Once per tour, or once every couple of tours is fine. Metallica's setlist seems to have mostly been the same for the past 15 years. I can drop into a show every once and a while and I don't feel like I missed something.

I don't think the general unwashed masses realize that there's a few bands who put on completely different shows every night.
This. I like the band Opeth but good thing I enjoy checking setlists because they regurgitate the same songs in the same order for every show. For me there is no need to see multiple or back to back shows in that situation. I bet some bands don't remember how to play some of their earlier/ b-side songs because if this practice. Pearl Jam & the other artists that mix it up create an experience that wont be duplicated.

Was just interested given the number of people seemingly doing the baseball double and many spring shows. From the MSG roll call, it looks like people are travelling from all over the globe. Hope everyone is able to get tickets for the shows they're seeking! So excited for this year! after not much in NAmerica last year

    It's ON buddy...
What are you guys doing on the off day between the Hampton & Raleigh show??
Let me know if you have something fun planned!!
    :rock_on:
    Dave,
we were thinking of staying another day in Hampton.
    what are you guys doing?
i can definitely change my reservation if i need to....
We were thinking about doing the Outer Banks or maybe heading over to Asheville,
but haven't made any plans for that day yet!!
Dave, both places are pretty sweet. The Outer Banks are beautiful, but if you wanted to go on a beer "tour", I'm sure you know that Asheville is the place. We went to the Sierra Nevada brewery from CA while we we there in October, and it was pretty cool. And I think the New Belgium brewery out of CO might be open by then so I'm sure you'd have fun there too. Plus, the local wicked weed, green man and many others. But I'm sure many people here might have more info on both places!

I'll ride the wave where it takes me...

    Orlando 4/24/92 & 8/23/92, Miami 3/28/94, Ft Laud 10/7/96, Alpine Valley 6/26/98, Missoula 9/30/12, EV Jax 11/24/12 & 11/25/12, Chicago (Wrigley) 7/19/13, Charlottesville 10/29/13, Charlotte 10/30/13, Tulsa 10/8/14, Lincoln 10/9/14, Denver 10/22/14, Jacksonville 4/12/16, Greenville 4/16/16, Telluride 7/9/16, Boston (Fenway) 8/5/16 & 8/7/16, Seattle (Safeco) 8/10/18, Boston (Fenway) 9/2/18 & 9/4/18, Dana Point 10/1/21 & 10/2/21, MSG 9/11/22, Denver 9/22/22, Austin 9/18/23 & 9/19/23.

Gotta check with Lyn and see what she's got in mind too!!
