1990-10-22 ... if only a good, decent quality version existed!
that should have been vault #1!!!!
Yeah, but then only a few people would have a CD of which it's easy enough to obtain the MP3.
That show deserves better treatment...like a time machine with a HD video cam, better lighting and high-quality audio treatment.
Too bad they can't randomly select about 250 people to go back and re-create that show at that bar (I think it's still open, albeit under a different name.)
And yes, they'd have to dig Dave K out from whatever rock he's under...and tell Boom to take the night off.
And why not dig out the flannel (ok, not really, but the $2 beers wouldn't be bad.)
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
For a month 10c members would be able to vote what they would want to be release for vault 6 from around 5/6 specific shows. the winner would be release as Vault 6.

Ah, worst idea ever... not the HD part (if I had a time machine the third thing i would do with it would totally be go back to that date in Seattle and sure to take with me a 4k hd cam.. ) I mean recreate that show, it would never be the same again, not even with all the flannel of this world, or the long hair..

Dave K is actually the drummer for Candlebox, so it shouldn't be that hard to find him...
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Some of these posts are still missing the point on all of these...no need for vaults of a soundboard that already exists and is available to us. We need NEW music to come to light!
Great performances and sets where there is NO current good quality listenable documentation! That's the deal!!!

The soundboard sounds fine!!! this thread is getting irritating... Take your Soldier Field Soundboard CD and make a copy and write "Vault" on it... Now you have a very Special "Vault" version!
I agree. The Vault is supposed to be a show that hasn't been released before. Soldier Field '95 already has an official vinyl release for crying out loud.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

I wouldn't exactly call it "official". "Sanctioned" is maybe a better term for it since the band didn't release it.
Who cares whether it was official or not???? If it is a soundboard or quality FM / Pre-FM?
They do not need to be released again, move on to new music, More shows that are not out yet!
Side note: I don't care if it is sanctioned, official, not official, by the band or by a bootlegger. To me it does not matter if the band and all of its affiliated members and management strictly prohibit us from ever listening to it. Once the cat is out of the bag, it is out there... It is music and I want to listen to it. I respect policies in theory, ( I am not going to sell bootlegs and I would rather give my money to Pearl Jam ) but nobody is going to keep me from listening to recordings of my favorite band regardless of the source. If a show comes out that I want to hear and I have access to it, I will seek to listen to it, so did every member of this band. As Ed was bringing in his tape recorder to shows as a kid.

I think it should be (fill in the name of your favortite show, first show, or some NYC show)....
No offense to the fine folks sharing their well meaning and educated opinions but this all kinda feels like an exercise in futility. We are unlikely to agree on which show should be the next vault. Nearly everyone will pick a show that they have some strong connection to.
Having said all of that.....I will throw my hat into the ring with the folks who are looking for an older show. 92-96... And no...I did not see the band that early on so no specific show request....
The 96' Berlin show was mixed by BOB (or Brett Eliason) and released through Sony internationally - a few others like that like the Live and Rareified and the Atlanta 94 show (that one being spread out on all the singles though).
September 17, 1995. We know they recorded some of it. "officially" released on the 95 FanClub single. ...........plus it was my first show so I want a great quality version of it.
