Just saw that there is a new vinyl pressing of Into the Wild available through Urban Outfitters. It supposedly features the CD album cover instead of the traditional LP cover art. Guess if you really need to spend some cash today...

Hmm saw this yesterday online but didn't buy, no mention of it being exclusive. The MOV vinyl is a European pressing, maybe this will be readily available in the US. I got the original so don't need a reissue. BTW my experience of Urban Outfitters is that they are terrible at packing vinyl properly.

I've never ordered from them online, but always pop into the store when I'm close. They discount their LP's all the time & have found some amazing albums for very little $.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

They do? Did they sell any past Pearl Jam albums with different cover artwork? Must check into this.

    No, they have not.

They've done different sleeves but they always say its exclusive but maybe because the CD has that sleeve they can't. Anyway I ordered about 4 copies of something before the condition of the sleeve was acceptable. What's the point in buying something for an exclusive sleeve if its just going to get beat up in the post.

I wasn't aware that the reissue that already existed was hard to get or expensive... I got mine a couple years ago on Amazon for maybe $25, and i still see it at normal prices in stores once in a while.

The MOV reissue isn't expensive. I see them up on Amazon many times the past few months. Even my local record stores get's a copy once a while.

I guess where I was going with that thought is, why is there another reissue when the last reissue is still cheap and readily available??

It is because the MOV reissues is an import, whereas the UO pressing is most likely a US pressing. It has happened with other titles as well.

FWIW I Had my local UO check the stock on this LP. They told me it was showing OOS everywhere, stores and online. Who knows if more will go up online or what the story was/is. The stock number is 37005964 if anyone else wants to double check with their local UO, but it looks like its completely sold out at the moment.

No booklet, no gatefold, pretty cheap. Fonts on the lp labels are the same but the layout of the song titles is a little different to make room for the J Records logo

Not one of the usual lp mailers, it was definitely oversized with kraft paper stuffed in there to keep it from moving around. About 14.5"x14.5"x3" box. Arrived in perfect condition though. Haven't had the chance to spin yet. Trying to remember if I've ordered any lps from UO before, but I don't think so.

How limited is this? UO has some rare pressings but this is a big name and not some Sirius radio artist. My store said they cant find it in the system anymore.

There's an UO downtown Halifax I will stop by & check this evening. Not sure how limited this is. Maybe it was an exclusive online sale, if your store didn't have it in their system. I would be SHOCKED if my store here had some in stock.

Gave them call just now. They don't have any in stock. Not on the floor or in their system.
