I'm not going to the event, and I get that Ed Sheeran is pop. But I saw him back in May with my daughter and found a full 2 hr. show off his to be very entertaining. He's got some decent lyrics and he's very talented musically.
Go in to his set with an open mind and you may find yourself surprised. Seems like he's getting sold very short by people.
I'd also love to see Coldplay. Beyonce I would struggle with a bit but it would be the kind of show I've never seen before live so that counts for something. All in all, if I could swing it financially I'd likely be there.
I actually like a lot of Ed Sheeran's songs. My daughter is a fan and if I get to play PJ in the car she gets a turn too so I've become familiar. Many of his songs are great for running. He actually writes his music and plays that guitar he's holding. That's more than can be said for many others out there.
