Portland, ME is on the list so I am down. Great city, food, and bar scene. However, I would say come in the summer and hit up Acadia National Park or Baxter State Park after.

I would also say hit up the Augusta Civic Center. Not much of a town, but the last time they played Maine was Augusta in 1996

Agreed - Portland, ME would be a great summer destination/tour stop...

They haven't played Houston in many years as well. And that's kind of a crime. Houston is huge!

i saw this thread and was wondering how long it would take someone to mention my ever-failing campaign...

4th largest city in the US... one of the largest ampitheatres in the country, and an arena just over 10 years old to choose from...

it's sad that Houston is a "lost city"... for christ sakes... we sold out 2 nights in a row at the largest venue on EV's southern US tour in 2012... you think we might get an honorable mention.... :(
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I'm not sure Myrtle Beach has a venue big enough for PJ. But Charleston and Columbia definitely does.

Honestly, since Houston (very much deservedly) has its own thread/campaign, and because of the size of Houston, I didn't think to include it on this list... My apologies.

I will say there are two or three cities where, if Pearl Jam announces a show, I will be there - and Houston is at the top of my list. I've never been to Houston and I'd love to go for a PJ show!

I sincerely hope it happens soon for Houston!

Anything by the convention center or maybe where the Pelicans play?

Or maybe a stint at the House I Blues by Barefoot Landing?

    Victoria, BC - Haven't played here since 1992 :)

We're really close to Seattle. We might have a small arena, but we'd make an excellent place to do a warmup show :)

    Great idea!
2 shows would be ideal for our area
    Make it worth it :)
I'll add my voice to this (for what it's worth).

I know the convention center isn't big enough. I'm not sure what the capacity is for that place. They may be able to hold a show at Broadway, if they wanted an outdoor gig. I'd still prefer Charleston.

I have to agree with what some of my boys have already posted above.

    Des Moines, IA.

A new arena that holds 16,000 and a city that is progressive and only growing. About the same size, if not bigger than Tulsa. The geography and location is almost perfectly situated within reasonable driving distance being centrally located for larger Midwest cities like Chicago, the Twin Cities, Kansas City, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Omaha. I met someone earlier this year who works at Wells Fargo Arena and they told me they were THIS close to booking PJ this past tour, but they opted to play Lincoln instead. It's already been said as well, they have only played in Iowa twice (1992 and 2003). And let's be honest, that 2003 show was really an Omaha show.

Not complaining at all as this tour worked perfectly for me and the locations, and this Midwest tour was absolutely incredible. I always look forward to traveling to see the band, it makes it even better seeing other cities along with the shows.

Houston needs a show....bad. one show in 11 years. I live in houston, and since they've played their last show here I've had to travel to San diego, LA, Philly, bonarroo, Chicago (twice), Toronto, austin (twice), Amsterdam, dallas, okc, Detroit, and Denver to see PJ.

at least I've gotten some miles and been to cool cities

Awwwww Ft Lauderdale 96... My first show. I drive by that venue everyday to and from work. Please come back so I can sleep in my bed after a show for a change. Actually anywhere within driving distance will work because I have a gang load of people ready for their first show.

Hershey, PA. - play the arena and not the stadium this time

Would love a show in Hershey, only 30 minutes from my house! Would rather see them play the stadium though. The arena isn't that good for sound, but would still be a great show... a bit like Moline, but an older building.

While we're at it, why not throw State College into the mix. Had arguably the greatest show of the massive 03 tours (3 encores and 40 songs!!) but they haven't been back since. It was a show to remember but I guess they haven't remembered the town (State College, PA... I know some people would ask "State College... which State?"). Bryce Jordan Center is great for sound. I saw Bruce Springsteen there and, in addition to being great because of Bruce, the arena was pretty good for the sound.

Where's the love for central PA? I've traveled to see them, look at my signature, and I'll probably continue to travel, but it would be nice to spend less than $500 to see them, and in a neglected part of the country for touring, the east coast!! joking, obviously... I'm not that greedy

    It would be nice though...

lol... I think I've finally found someone who has me beat! Since I moved to Houston in 2008 I've traveled to: Toronto (twice '09 and '11), Boston, Hartford, Hamilton, Ottawa, Buffalo, Dallas, OKC, New Orleans, and Austin (3 times - twice in '14 and once in '09)...

that's a lot of miles for PJ... I really think we deserve a show.

Living in Houston, I have done Houston( back in 2000), Dallas (twice), Austin, OKC, and Tulsa.

Furthest I have traveled was to Oakland, CA for an Ed solo show in 2011.

Really hope Houston gets a show or two on the next tour.
