I hope the rest of the band accepts the challenge and does it all at the same time, instead of individually. That would be fucking awesome!

I like the fact that his ride is a mid 90s station wagon with faux wood paneling. Possibly a Chevrolet Caprice:

I don't see the big deal about the ice bucket...

I think raising the awareness is a big deal, but I think Mike (and, anyone else for that matter) will be just fine after they have a bucket of ice water poured on top of them.

It is raising awareness...it's being talked about and done by players and coaches at practice field of my Detroit Lions, at a work party I went to and now with Pearl Jam...all in a span of 3-4 days!

Its a big deal because people are uniting for a cause in a fun way. Its way fucking better than 99% of what is making news lately.

I m pretty sure everyone realizes they ll be ok after dumping a bucket of ice in them. It s the awareness factor that is awesome. Jimmy fallon and the roots did it on late night a few days ago. Kick ass!

Yeah, I totally support that. The point I was making was...Why would anyone, especially Ed, Stone, Jeff, Matt, or even Boom, have to "have the balls to do" it, though?

    "That was brisk." Too funny!

I cringed a bit when he promoted SummerSlam but it was a very minor mention, especially by their standards. Really enjoyed this one, thanks for posting.
