Reading between the lines here, I think this may be the calm before the storm. Maybe they're trying to get us to save our pennies for something coming soon. For a band with so much demand, it doesn't make sense to not offer new merch, unless they have big plans on the radar ...maybe wishful thinking, but I think something is around the corner...

Maybe because we knew about this a few weeks ago? It's hardly new news.

I'm not complaining (I kind of like the boring newsletters because I'm not compelled to spend anything), but announcing an album release that was already announced (and not making it available at a deal or some limited edition or something) isn't exactly thrilling information. ;)

A little disappointing there's not more in the newsletter but can't have everything. Look fwd to upcoming months for news. Hopefully there's something in the pipeline...tour, new release/s, merch, hof etc....we all wait with baited breath.

I guess it was my turn not to get the newsletter this month. Got it within minutes last month. Oh well, didn't miss anything.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Possibly promoting Matt with Soundgarden's tour but I don't think much else will be in it.

Wouldn't they usually mention the EV tour in the newsletter first? I'm just hoping it's a sign that they have other big things ready for this newsletter and didn't want to hit us all at once. Wishful thinking...

If an announcement is big it is usually not in the newsletter. Off the top of my head I can't remember the last time HUGE news was announced via the newsletter

Maybe. I guess it just depends on what one considers big news. The vaults I think are usually announced via newsletter, and those are always cool (although I think its a bit early for a new one to be announced). Basically I have no idea, but I think the whole "OMG its the 10th" stuff is generally overblown nonsense. Now watch for something great coming in a couple days...

The last big announcement in the newsletter was probably the Mystery vinyl sale. Other than that they do drop some new products in store but the tour announcements and major new release seem to be in their own announcements

My guess is the Wrigley bluray for some reason.

    My guess:

    EV tour news
    Women shirt
Contest winner and new contest announced
Perhaps some hype for the Soundgarden tour

...a lower bar is easier to be surprised at.

I think it says does not apply to every item, which I'm guessing Wrigley would be
