RVM has just about run its course with me. I even find myself skipping on boots.

Every time I've seen them they've played rearviewmirror and gets better every time . My dad being a grateful dead fan loves a good jam and RVM is his favourite song , shows the band at there best. Only seen porch once live and blew me away, but RVM holds emotional connections and never tire of it:)

Wasn't easy but Jeff's base coming out of the break plus that insane ending did it for me.

RVM. That song live gets to me every single time, although I have to say, I love Porch too.

I chose RVM, but need to say something that has been on my mind...

I wish ed would sing the last verse of RVM instead of basically saying the last word or two in each line.

speed...me....all.....far away...believe... raised (enter end jam)

This is about all I ever hear him sing during the last verse of live RVM nowadays. Put some effort into singing your own lyrics, man!

Porch for sure. RVM is one of the few Pearl Jam songs that I like the studio version better than live versions.

Better song through and through, and killer ending with better intro.

"Fooling' your crown" - love those lyrics.

Both are great main set and encore closers. Classics.

RVM for sure. I think it's one of their best.

RVM, here- one of my all-time favorites.

Studio - RVM - kicks ass on studio version. turn it way up when driving.

Live - Porch. RVM hasn't really done it for me live. Porch is a little more ass kicking live i think

    Live: Porch.
    Studio: RVM.

I agree with what someone said above about Eddie not really singing the last verse anymore. In fact, I think the way he sings the whole song lacks emotion. I think the same for other songs around the Ten-Vs era in regards to how they sound nowadays. "Once" is one of them, for example. I think it's normal though after 20+ years.
If I knew where it was, I would take you there.

    Fool to your crown, no?

I wish both of these songs would lead into something else. Kick it up a little more like when Daughter used to go into the wall or another song.
