another blown save. This team needs a closer.

should be 4 games over, now even at 500 because of the fucking awful relief.

any team ever given up back-to-back-to-back homers in the 9th? wtf just happened? only good part was great fucking weather, grilling, beers and whiskey on the deck watching rock n roll hall of fame hockey and the phils. fucking love the hot weather.

    it's 40 here in Green Bay :/

I remember the dodgers getting back to back to back to back homers in the 9th to win it once. They have a history of it.

Edit: I was wrong, it was 4 in a row to tie it:

well that's two games they have blown. this one was a little more tough than the Nationals game. back to back to back homers? really?

If we had a decent bullpen the team could be way better.

looks like another game blown by the bullpen. If the bullpen had only given up one run in 3 innings of work we'd be tied right now.

Has anyone been to Fred's Tavern recently? I stopped in there on Saturday and couldn't believe how nice it was.  When did they get rid of the bar area with the stage that I used go see Love Seed at?
    Alright, alright, alright!

Oh, Jesus Christ. ...Mama Jump? With other icons of Philly-area Aught-era cover bands like....Burnt Sienna, Kandy Flyp, Octane, Mr. Greengenes, Sensational Soul Cruisers, and of course the legends....Chico's Vibe. And many more I know I am blanking on right now. But I know there are some of them still rocking 2000-style goatees with large ball bearing necklaces rocking Buckcherry and Jet somewhere right now. Jager and $1 Red Bull & vodkas for all.

But, yeah, like most things down the shore - they get ruined with having to look new and catering to a bunch of dip shits. And I have to say, as a staunch supporter of all shore points between the Crest and Strathmere, Cape May I think has far and away become my #1 now.

Anybody know what happened to the "new" icon when posts are updated with replies? Now I have no idea where to start with these threads.

Edit: Add Lost In Paris to the list of shitty cover bands!

Too soon to move on Hoskins I guess, but the dude's killing it. Guy's got really smooth swing and approach at the plate.

seems like their schedule has been brutal already.  its what 19 or 20 games against Washington, the Mets, Dodgers and Cubs already?  with another tough stretch coming up.

Was thinking the same thing about the schedule. Too many mental base running errors though. Also Rupp didn't back up a play at 1st yesterday. That's little league stuff.

That's why I feel like this team is in the 75-80 win mark - they've already played a good amount of premium teams and have stayed in pretty much all of those games. I know, I know - only one month so far, but we will see.

I think the +/- in Vegas to begin the season was 67? I would've taken the over on that in a heartbeat.

The starters have to start giving 6-7 instead of 5-6 innings.
