  • Looks like the buy now is gone and only contest entries available
  • they still have the buy now for the west coast stuff, but not for NY and Boston at least.

Still another shot for folks who missed out and don't want to pay stub hub

I believe I did for LA1, as I received an email asking for confirmation. Just FYI, you have to have at least 100 points credited to your account to even be able to see the "BUY NOW" button, or at least 20 for the draws. Also, after you've entered the max 3 entries for any given show drawing, the "Enter the Draw" button will no longer be active for that specific show from your account.

I redeemed and it took the points, but then said something about locating a challenge badge to fulfill the prize? Interesting...

OKC now says "AUCTION CLOSED: Sorry, these tickets have been secured for 100 points by a Global Citizen user." Guessing they'll all be updated accordingly.

Jeepers, it's pretty hard to get enough points to be able to enter the competition. I gave up. I was hoping to enter for Oakland as I've not had any luck finding any spare 10c GA for that show. If anyone has or hears of any pease flick me a PM.

    j/k. I have no idea.
  • I always read the Oklahoma City venue as the cheapskate arena. Lol
  • I don't understand how this works. How do you gain points? and how long does it take to get 100? is it 100 points per ticket, or per pair? what do I have to do?

sign up, watch videos, read articles, share on fb and twitter, sign petitions. i got the hang of it quickly when they put london and wrigley on there. had 200+ points ready when they sprung the shows today, scored charlottesville buy-it-now. thanks to the op for the heads up!

it takes a few hours to get to 100, but if you're stuck at a computer it's pretty painless.

all the buy it now options are gone. They went super fast. You can watch videos, send emails, sign petitions, ect. to get points. It's slow going but interesting and really good information.

You can still enter into a drawing for tickets...but I would imagine the chances of winning those is super slim.

Though exact odds vary based on number of entrants, the chances of any Prize Draw entrance winning is no less than 1 in 1000.
  • Yea they say drawings have odds no less than 1 in 1000. I have 100 points and will save them for another tour rather than waste them on lotto entries. There will be tons of entires since its only 20 points to enter.
    Uniondale, NY 04/30/03 - Camden, NJ 07/05/03 - MSG 07/08/03 - Reading, PA 10/01/04 - Philly 10/03/05 - Ed Sullivan Theatre 05/04/06 - MSG 06/25/08 - MSG 05/21/10 - NYC (EV solo) 06/21/11 - Montreal 09/07/11 - Brooklyn 10/18/13 - Central Park 09/26/15 - Philly 04/29/16 - MSG 05/01/16 - MSG 05/02/16 - Fenway 08/05/16 - Fenway 09/02/18 - Fenway 09/04/18

This has to be the silliest gimmick going. Like running a video does anything. Bow to the master sheep. What will Ed make us do next?

Sorry for being so cynical. If you need goodies to do something good is it really good?

Nike is a Goliath profit making machine, but they are more right - Just Do It. Why not just seek out a service member and give them the tickets rather than make you monkeys jump through hoops?

I just watched Sally Strothers eat the starving!!! How many points did I earn?

End cynicism. Begin barrage of insults.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
  • I look at it as a means to and end. It's getting the information out there. It's a start.
  • I was fortunate to get the Oklahoma City pair and am excited to see a new city this tour :D

  • I'm just going to buy Calgary tickets off stubhub. Watching 5 minute videos for 1 point each 75 times is a pain in the ass.
