Not too much from what I've read, they really need to get away from that cheap plastic casing they use, their phones feel like some crappy toy.

I have a rooted and custom-rom'd Galaxy Nexus.

...but I hardly ever use it as a phone.

    Im up tomorrow with Verizon.

I have a Droid 3. The battery life has been aaaaawful. Like I cant be away from a charger for more than a couple hours. I also seem to use up a shit load of data, when I really shouldnt. I think I have too many apps, and some probably work in the background. And they also update automatically. Phone also lags a bit trying to call, answer, navigate menus, etc...

So I think Im going to strip all my files off the phone.... reset it to factory defaults and see what happens and if I can stretch more time into this phone.

I really dont want to lose unlimited data.

    unlimited data rocks for sure....

as for the battery, it could be an app running, or it could be a shit battery. we've got a couple of batteries that wroked good for a while, and then just started working like shit. if you keep the phone, might be worth picking up a new battery.

the razr maxx hd battery life is really good...i didn't plug it in all weekend and after doing a bunch of stuff on it including the upgrade to jelly bean, the battery was at about 20% left when i went to bed

it may be. Phone also gets pretty hot.

The apps updating has caused "Three Stooges Syndrome" where they all (like 20+ at once) try to update at the same time and get stuck for a long time and perpetually try to download data. I turned off auto updates on a bunch which seems to have helped.

    Blackberry Bold

It's good at email .... and that's about it. But my work pays for it, so I can't complain too much. I do prefer the physical keyboard versus a virtual one.
