I'm definitely interested in seeing him. He's one of the few country artists that I've ever truly enjoyed.

That's how I feel as well. I'm not a country guy at all, save for a few older country acts.

Anybody ever see jack Johnson live? I own all his records and can play a lot of his music on my guitar but I m thinking his live show might be rather boring. Any thoughts?

I've seen Jack 3 or 4 times. He's not the chattiest in between songs, but there's always been a nice chilled out vibe at his shows. If you're already a fan I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

    03/14 - Green Day @ Verizon Center
    05/11 - Dwight Yoakam @ Lincoln Theatre
11/20 - Lady Gaga @ PPG Paints Arena

Unless there is an EV solo tour, that's probably gonna be it for me this year. EDIT: Also if Midnight Oil tour the states. Seeing specualtion of a reunion/tour. If they bring it here, I'm in!

I can't decide if I want to spend $140 - $200 CAD for a Tom Petty ticket.... Who has insight into Tom Petty concerts? Are they especially amazing?

I saw Petty with Stevie Nicks @ Boston Garden in the 80's . Great show back then. . The current tour is with Joe Walsh. When the tour starts google the set list and you tube clips . That should help you decide. class="Quote" rel="PJ_Soul">I can't decide if I want to spend $140 - $200 CAD for a Tom Petty ticket.... Who has insight into Tom Petty concerts? well, he told Rolling Stone that this may be his last big one...
    http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/tom-petty-40th-anniversary-tour-might-be-last-big-one-w454754

After this tour, it looks like he may be doing much smaller tours
