Help! I'm going bald!

My receding hairline is receding too far.

What can I do. Rogain makes hair grow again. What makes the hair loss stop? I've heard you gotta hit it from both sides. Any suggestions? Most PJ fans that have been around since the beginning probably know a thing or two about going bald.

    mate, its not worth trying to fight it... i just shave mine off.
    You will save on going to the hairdresser.
    if you do shave it make sure you do it gradually, start off with number 2 on the clippers and go down from there. It alleviates the shock factor

    You gotta understand, I'm not just going to give up. I've always been known for my unique hair. I have two cowlic on the top, face side of my hair line that creates a wave-like thing. I hated it when I was a kid but it makes me stand out and Ive grown to really cherish it as a symbol of who I am. I know it sounds corny and shallow and flakey but I don't want to lose it.

    BIOTIN, 15,000 mcg a day. Can find it at any drugstore or pharmacy. Worked for my husband. He doesn't "shed" anymore. You can thank me in a month! ;)

    He used to use Rogaine (or whatever off-brand they sell at Costco) but nothing has helped like Biotin. I take it too to make my hair longer and healthier. Lots of B vitamins might be a good supplement too. Be warned...they'll make your hair grow fast and you'll be clipping your nails every other day, but a small sacrifice, eh?

    haha :lol::lol:

    i already clip my nails everyday. Im a freak about keeping my nails short so obviously that wont phase me. I already take lots of B vitamins too so will the Biotin still have an impact, in your opinion?

    This makes me think about Tobias Funke from Arrested Development. Beware of Hair Plugs-LOL!

    The sad thing is that I know it is going to happen to me, but I have never thought of fighting it. I'm just going to own it.

    Propecia works but is expensive, but I think there is a generic now, get your doctor to write a script, perhaps a dermatologist, I got a great one in Philly who understands how superficial the world can be, don't listen to all these posts telling you to forget about it, it's a serious thing, fight for your life!

    Fish oil.. lots of it. And eat lots of eggs...

    My hair was starting to thin out. I started taking fish oil supplements to fight internal allergies and not only did it help my allergies being an anti-inflammatory, but my hair got thick again.
