Not really my thing to feed the rumor mongor, but I feel compelled. I heard recently that Pearl Jam will be the music guest on March 6th when Zach Galifianakis is hosting. The worst part about this is I cannot remember where or from whom I heard that, which makes me feel worse for posting this.

when ashton kutcher hosted, he did live streaming video through his twitter, showing behind the scenes during the week leading up to the show. one of his videos was him in a back office and he shows this huge board displaying the hosts/musical acts for the whole season. he zoomed in on his name and them crooked vultures, and made a joke about how he cant show us the future of the board. but he flashed by it for a second and there were definitly other names on that board for upcoming episodes. i was able to pause and make out J-lo's name who is the next host. maybe someone with more tech skills could freeze frame and see if pearl jam is on there.

Maya Rudolph used to have a blog about upcoming guests that I loved, but she's no longer on the show. Somebody, maybe Samberg or Forte must have a damn blog!

They're probably right. The 10c won't let us know until Pearl Jam's name is plastered on the venue with the date and time for all to see. Then about 2-3 weeks later they will "tweet" us and wonder why no one is really surprised they are touring. It will be on every radio station, Rolling Stone, the internet......but us paying members who rely on the fan club to give us info will be on the outside looking in. Sorry for the rant but just kind of annoying that EVERY bit of PJ news is released by other sources first.

What's annoying is how people think slamming the 10c is somehow productive

not sure why people cant understand that this is a business... and stuff can't be officially announced until it's official

Sorry everyone but I can't let this go.

What's really annoying is people who completely go out of there way to make someone feel like their wrong because they have an issue with the way that the 10c operates.

The truth of the fact is that a business makes money by offering a product that is better than their competition. The last 5 years most of us on this board have gathered our information from other competition sources that becomes official weeks before the 10c (the service we are paying for).

wasn't really out of my way... and i'm dealing with the reality of the situation...

and sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you're also wrong.. .there is no competition... there is only one fan club....

the band tells the fan club when they can announce things

    let me repeat that... slowly

    the

    band

    tells

    the

    fan

    club

    when

    they

    can

    announce

    things

i don't get why people can't understand this?

oh and businesses make money for a variety of reasons - hyundai's are not better than honda's... but i see what you were attempting there

oh and i'm curious why did YourDirt posted a 5 mile long thing... and then Fastrichie quoted it?

I don't remember reading the "You'll hear it here first!" clause when I signed up for 10c. Was it before or after the part where they only promised ticket sales, Deep mag, and Holiday-X single?
