  • I knew they would be good live, but they blew my fuckin doors off, when I caught them headlining. Seen them at the Pageant in St Lou on 01. They closed with Can't Ya Hear Me Knockin' by the Stones and it was supreme. They are the most rock and roll, rock and roll band in the world. And I love how they jam, but don't get carried away with it. A good 45 minute jam is good, but the Crowes just seem like they are pushin the boundaries a bit more than your standard jam band. Alotta bands on the scene just jam to jam, with no thought to how it fits with the original piece of music.
  • I am listening to the 9/30/05 show right now. I was there and it is all coming back to me. What a fucking show. I was not planning on going to the Garden on NYE but I am starting to have second thoughts.
  • best available for NYE from ticketbastard...

    section 308
    row M

looks like they did a pretty good job filling the garden for NYE !
  • They added Trey from Phis at the last minute, so that spiked their sales. I'm headed to Lupo's down in Providence, RI this Friday, I'm kinda psyched!!!
Our love is like our music, it's here... and then it's gone.

Rumour has it the Crowes have let their keyboard player go. The board is sad.
  • i really hope they play either wakarusa or 10klf this year.
"I feel it!"- Eddie, during Alive solo, Chicago 2003
  • I just heard they are playing at the Fox in Atlanta on March 14. I would love to go see them again!
We need Pearl Jam in Atlanta!!! 2006-2007

The dirty south needs a fix.
  • Awful news if its true... weird old ed is an integral part of the band. Hope they sort it out and his back soon. God bless ed.

  • I hope ed is still in the band. He is an essential member of the band and the music will suffer if he is out. Look at the Steve Gorman shows vs the other drummer in 05 as an example.

I hope Ed is not out for good. I was at the orlando show and it sounded wierd w/o him being there for some songs (thick n thin, ballad->wiser). I'm gonna see um again in Atlanta on the 14th and i'm seeing at Langerado. i hope Ed is with them by then.

eh, the day of the show, my husband went online and got us two floor seats, probably 20-25th row? i want to say, the first row right next to the soundboard, so almost centered.....unreal! one of the BEST NYE....ever!

the place was very full, but definitely not sold out. didn't matter though, great, great time!
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I'm going to Langerado, too. Will be my first Black Crowes live experience.
