I think its awesome that Radiohead opened the first show of this tour with this song. I love slow starts to concerts and this song just seemed to me like it would be used as an opener.

I'm seeing them twice in August (as my sig shows) and I'm hoping they open one of them with AIN.

Can't wait to see some reviews of this show- the set as a whole looked great.

Was "videotape" like the old live version, or more like the terrible album version?
  • They should play Creep 16 times so people actually give a shit.
You can't spell "dumb" without DMB
  • It is an excellent playlist, but they really gotta get back to representin their earlier stuff a bit better this time around. That's my only complaint about them - Pearl Jam still plays the songs that made 'em famous in addition to b-sides, etc.

I'm seeing them on thursday for the first time and i'm hoping we will get a couple classics from the bends and ok computer.

I don't want them to live in the past but i'd really like to hear those songs.

that is why i never get upset when pearl jam plays black, daughter, alive, even flow etc someone in the audience is there for the first time and really wants to hear those songs.

    This show was AMAZING!!!!
We had second row tickets and besides the greateness of these seats, the band was on fire, they were really excited and very into the show.

The stage had this really cool chime looking props hanging from the ceiling that reflected all different colors lights and a big screen on the back of the stage divided into 5 parts and you could see each of the band members on it.

They played a few old songs, but mainly stuff from In Rainbows which was really great! They had 2 encores and played for 2 hours, I walked out of there breathless after jumping and singing the entire show, all I have to say about this show is WOW!!!!!!
Videotape was unbelievable, and the audience helped out clapping singing it was just great and they looked really happy with the audience's response.
Faust Arp was really good, just to see Johnny and Thom stand there with their guitars and his voice was just so perfect.... it's been a while since I have been to such a good show (other than Pearl Jam of course).
My personal highlight was Weird Fishes... but the whole show was just great!

I wish I was seeing them in Tampa too, if only it wasn't a weekday!

I had the chance to get 20th row for the St. Louis show, but had to pass on them because it looked like I would have to work late for the next couple nights. Found out yesterday though that that wasn't the case...fuck

man that setlist would be awesome for the 2 shows I'm going to this years (Lolla and Cleveland). The only song I don't really care for is The Gloaming...I just can't get into that song. However they did play most all my favorites including Airbag- which I still think is their most underrated song. I guess if they switched the Gloaming for Bones or The Tourist it would be a perfect setlist for me...but that is the good thing about Radiohead- they always change it up.

Cool setlist, if slightly odd. They've pretty much vanquished all the pop songs out of the set ( :( ). People can say what they want about how they've moved on from The Bends and OK Computer, but I liked the mixture between the different styles on the Hail to the Thief tour. This setlist seems to be a bit off balance in my opinion (which obviously no one else agrees with :o ).

Totally agree. I'm seeing them on Thursday for the first time too, and as much as I like IR, I'd still LOVE to see some off the bends and OK computer, because that's how I got into the band!

Come on Thursday!!!! Stay away RAIN!

  • No, not *quite* lawn, but might as well be as far as rain is concerned! :) We're in the back uncovered part I think like row XX or UU or something. Even though I got them the second they went on sale...

    Show starts at 8!

i know what you mean about seeming off balance. however i would prefer this since I like the newer stuff more. I'm seeing them 2 nights in a row so I'm expecting a good amount of material from each album.

Yeah, I'm seeing them 2 nights in a row and then a 3rd time a week later at a festival (so maybe more hits...), can't wait. But that's not til the end of June so I'll wait and see if the setlist changes further along the tour.

I'm sure glad I didn't get tickets now. I would have wanted to hear a bunch of songs from The Bends, Creep, a few songs off their other albums, and Reckoner and House of Cards from In Rainbows.
  • Friday can not come soon enough! Gonna be my first time ever seeing them!

I agree, this setlist makes me feel better about missing them this time around. I saw them in 06 and they played most of In Rainbows along with a bunch of Bends and OK Computer. In other words a perfect balance for me as OK Computer still ranks as my favorite and In Rainbows a close second. It's only 1 show but I think it's likely going to be a trend. More of the new and less of the old.
