My wife and I were at the Portland show, and man, did they f'ing rock the house!! The new songs sound great. Cyanide was a highlight with the stage painted in all green lighting. They also played an impressive selection of classics, like Ride the Lightning, No Remorse, Fight Fire, etc. I'm going to see them again in Seattle on Dec. 1st. Can't wait!

I was reflecting after the show and realized that, personally, nobody rocks me harder live than Metallica. It's like a brutal assualt from a wall of metal. Just f'ing get blasted. My all-tme favorite live band.
