    I haven't listened to it, but I find the idea of Deerhoof releasing "the album of the year" comical. I saw them open for Radiohead, and it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. And I have seen some ridiculous stuff in my time. A girl bouncing around the stage singing "bunny bunny bunny" over and over while making rabbit ears with her free hand. . .just wow.
    It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

    i saw them open for Bloc Party, didn't like them, too gimmicky.
