Well it has been Pearl Jam #1 Sigur Ros #2 for a while. I saw both live this summer and while Pearl Jam was amazing, Sigur Ros might have been better. Maybe its because the Sigur Ros show is fresh in my mind but right now there is nothing else I would rather listen to.

There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......

Ha Ha...when I read the OPs post, I thought the same thing.

No offense either to the thread starter, I do not know who they are so I have no opinion of the band.

  • I have tickets to see them in November. Looking forward to it like nothing else. I'm not sure they'll replace PJ, as their music is so different, but they are definitely up there in my favourite bands :)

I like them but theyve a bit to go before they get in amongst my absolute favourites, eg Mogwai, PJ, Radiohead, Soundgarden etc.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

They're really good live but their music has a different vibe tp PJ so I can't really compare the two of them.

There's only one band that i'd fly across the world twice to see though!

    Ok, be quiet here.........shhhhhhhhhh!

You are going to be abducted and sent back to the brainwashing chamber....(I feel it is my job to warn you people)..........

    Repeat after me,

"There is no better band than PJ"
"There is no better band than PJ"

ok, now you will be taken to a dark place where you will be injected with a substance that will enable you to be pain free. And then when you are comfortable and sleepy, we will hook you up to these wonderful electrical devices and then you will be zapped four times and when you awaken you will be in a beautiful blue and white room where we will help you recover as you forget those horrid thoughts on such nonsense as thinking any band could be better.........and we will pipe in pj music to aid in this recovery as you watch only pj dvds on your tv........
it'll be ok. many people recover pretty quickly as they see the bands they thought were better on behind the music......
Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on The Creek......

Together we will float like angels.........

In the moment that you left the room, the album started skipping, goodbye to beauty shared with the ones that you love.........

Nah, we are always looking for new people to use as testing modules. Maybe we can hook you up when we are deciding between the blue and white room or the pink and white room. Oh and we are still trying to get the exact right amount of zaps in..........

    still in??
