I need to read your typing saying that Bleach is better than In Utero and Nevermind, a part of me is wishing you are just mistaken.

yeah that's just crazy talk, like Bleach is cool and all but like Nevermind is sick and in utero is my favorite album of the decade give or take a Pavement cd

The only band that jumps out right now is Bush. Loved their first cd, hated their second, and after that I just lost interest. The Golden State was marginal.

Maybe you are confused, a lot of people think Nevermind was their first album, I personally dont like Nirvana, but I think In utero is their best.

Arcade Fire and Portishead have only released 2 albums each. Just because you like the first albums better do not mean they've peaked yet. The new Portishead drops in April so if you don't like that as much as Dummy then your statement is more accurate.

I couldn't disagree more with this one. Southern Harmony will always be their first album to me. As to their best I would have to go with either Amorica or Southern Harmony, with Three Snakes sneaking in now and again. Shake Your Moneymaker really didn't showcase the talent and skill along with the jams that the Robinson Bros. have continued to produce.IMHO :)

Yeah this shocked the hell out of me to.No way was S.Y.M their peak.Southern Harmony is a stunning album.Great great band.

I still prefer Bleach although Radio Friendly Unit Shifter is there best song by a mile.

Favourite REM is New Adventues in Hi-Fi.

Machine Head definately peaked on their debut

you know - like that crappy "band out of Boston" who spent 7 years making their first album (which I never liked, anyway) and could never quite recapture the magic...

My list (if you couldn't tell, I'm a bit trapped in the past):

    Black Crowes
    .

    Really? I'd disagree.
