    i say do whatever you want. if it helps you enjoy the show by sitting down, sit down. if standing's your thing, then stand. etc. as long as it's not invading others' space or causing people around you to have a bad time i can't see why people care about what other people are doing. for example, i don't really jump up and down and go crazy. i stand, and often still with my arms crossed. it doesn't mean i'm not enjoying the show, it's just how i prefer to experience it. plus i'm usually singing my heart out so there's that. but really, just enjoy it the way you want to, while being courteous to others.

    I think the point is, the "sitters" are usually the ones asking you to sit down because they can't see.

    I always stand up. I just feel bad for the 60 or 70 year old couple two rows in front of me at Columbia. They sat down the whole time. Wonder if they are fans or what?

    the only thing i hate is when someone is standing next to me singing every word to every song. some people think its cool, it pisses me off. youre there to hear them sing, not some dumbass fan
