    What is this 'seat' that you people speak of? I mean, yeah, there's these objects placed on the ground that acts as some kind of barrier, but you mean these are for people to sit on?

    I've been to 26 Pearl Jam shows... and have sat everywhere from the first few rows from the stage to the last few rows to the parking lot! Never have sat down.. except for maybe an encore break....
    MSG 2 is the only night I didn't get 10C, and I'll be in the 300's as well... oh well.. it'll still be awesome.. no matter what your view is.

    I am so excited for tonight! Bring on Show #27!!!!!!!!! :)

    jay i'm telling you it was the most surreal thing i've ever seen at a concert, except for maybe the naked jesus look-a-like dude at woodstock 94 after i smoked a bone and drank a bottle of jack. anyway, people in waves just started sitting down...and within a minute, all of great woods was sitting down like it was a freakin James Taylor show.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I wish I had the stamina but at 31 years of age I just can't stand for that long before getting tired. Plus Pearl Jam won't take the stage until 9 p.m so by that point I'll be ready for bed. Would it be appropriate to bring an air mattress so I can lay down and maybe catch some shuteye during a quiet song like Hard to Imagine?

    Of all the concerts I've ever been to, with the exception of James Taylor, I generally stand the entire time, taking some of the slower songs as the opportunity to take a seat and rest my dogs.
    I have flat feet, though, and it is extremely tough for me to stand stationary for any extended amount of time. At Bonnaroo, my ankles were swollen double their size at the end of PJ's set.....but it was a pain well worth the experience of course.....who can complain
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    i stood up for the entire wpb and tampa show, and now that I think of it, kissimmee too. nobody was sitting down anywhere that i could see. happy to say that i did not shit my pants ;)
