This is something I wrote on a myspace bulletin chain thing about crappy bands. Some people thought it was cool/funny, so now I'm sharing it here... :)

    OMG, yes about Nickelback. There was this mp3 floating around that had two of their songs in stereo, one in the right channel one in the left channel. They were pretty much the exact same song just different words.

    I can't stand either band...but have been enjoying all the bad shit happening to scott crapp!! lol the band 311 kicked the shit out of him in a bar after he insulted the singers' wife....lol....and then I guess he missed other promo shit for his solo album!!

    and I'm soooooooo sick of Nicklesuck (thanks john! lol ) that I could just PUKE!

    Yeah...lol. Well, I know they are definetly NOT a cover band, lol. PJ cover bands are cool :cool: But Creed is generally known for being like a bad version of Pearl Jam ;) Maybe not so much the music, but definetly Scott Stapp's voice :)

    Ya know, I was just having some fun w/ some Creed bashing ;) I could've written about Good Charlotte for all I know! :p lol.

    LOL...yeah, I know :p But, it's all in good fun :D I'm not a hater, I just felt like saying some ridiculous things about something, and since the subject was crappy bands, well, Creed was one of the first things that came to mind :p Maybe I should've done it about Simple Plan or Good Charlotte??? :confused:

    yah i'm from vancouver... and i think its in our 'vancouver seeds' contest thing that they (nickelback) got all big and stuff - though i might be wrong - anyways, my point is that radiostations here worship them probably because of that... and i don't know about the stations where you all are from, but here they play them so much.. so, so much... (cringe)

    I just think that Nickelback hasn't come out with one good song. That's why I hate them...plus the simplicity of their songs.

    I don't hate them though, I just feel a strong dislike towards them :p

    I used to like the song "How You Remind Me" and "Too Bad," but that was a LONG, LONG, time ago. Now it all sounds the same to me, like complete crap :eek:

    don't worry, when i was like 12 i went through that whole "i'm so hardcore cause i listen to green day" stage (though it wasnt as bad as many) and i was SO mad that my friends didnt take me to the nickelback/default concert (which, by the way members of default graduated from my school and one lives behind me but thats actually irrelevant cause they're pretty bad too but).
    Its funny to laugh at now... i later grew into better music (sigh of relief).
