don't listen to the eels, and the soft bulletin almost made it. It is a really good album

haven't got around to it, really and I kind of doubt I will.Who knows

I just bought Fear Of Music a few weeks ago so I haven't really listened to it that much. I still don't think it can touch remain in light, though

there's always room for more, so why not a top 100?

Aeroplane floored me too. Just absoluetly floored me. Track by track I just fell deeper into the rabbit hole or Mangums' dreams. Really one of the best albums ever. Definitely deserving of the top spot.

I take it you don't listen to much hip-hop. I only saw NWA (I don't care for them) and Public Enemy (Fear of a Black Planet is great, btw). There's a lot out there and there's a lot that is good. I'm not gonna tell you that you should have this band or that album on your list because I do think your list is decent. But you should check out A Tribe Called Quest if you haven't heard their shit and also anything from MF Doom a.k.a. Viktor Vaughn a.k.a. King Geedorah.

    Things that surprised me......

Matthew Good Band at number 3
    Slayer
    Ben Folds Five
    Deep Purple

glad to see Destroyer on there twice

and Olivia Tremor Control- "Dusk at Cubist Castle" makes me happy.

I almost wanted to correct you because I didn't see Bitter Melon Farm on there, but alas, it's ALL there! I will check out "We Shall All Be Healed" very soon.

tis a good list, but not at all how my own would look...Abbey Road is your fav Beatles album?
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

Matt Good is probably my favourite artist ever.I say this with no shame or anything, because I am just in love with all his stuff.

Reign in Blood is such a great album, I'd feel bad if I didn't include it. There are maybe 2 or 3 weak songs on the whole thing.

Ben Folds is great too. His debut is his strongest, or in any case it is the one I like the most. Great summer album, great songs on it, and he is an amazing pianist.

What can I say, I have a huge weak spot for "Lazy" and "Space Truckin'" And "Maybe I'm A Leo." Too bad the rest of the album is overshadowed by Smoke On The Water.

Destroyer's great. I'm undecided on Rubies, so for simplicities sake I kept all 2k6 albums off the list.

depopulationINC: Yes it is. It is also the only one I listen to regularily. If this was more a list based on influence and general music consensus, then you would probably see more Beatles on it, but this is the list of albums I really like and listen to a lot, so only Abbey Road (for now)
