Pearl Jam
Pink Floyd
The Beatles
Bruce Springsteen
Those are the top 4, and they rotate.
HM goes to Jimi, The Arcade Fire, Jack White, and Nine Inch Nails.Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V0 -
#1 Soundgarden
#2 ATM it is Bruce Springsteen0 -
My favorite band is Wilco.
I've been a Pearl Jam fan since 1996. I've been a Wilco fan since 2005. They have very little in common.
I find that it isn't all that important to me to have a "favorite" band anymore. I'm focused on discovering new music nowadays, so it's not like I listen to Wilco or Pearl Jam on a daily or even weekly basis.0 -
My second favorite band after Pearl Jam is The Beatles. I have loved them my whole life, growing up with them long before Pearl Jam came around. The incredible diversity in their catalogue allows me to find something to listen to no matter what my mood might be. Even their poppy stuff is insanely good.
In terms of active bands, Arcade Fire is my second favorite. I love them for many of the same reasons I love Pearl Jam. Their live shows are such emotionally powerful experiences. It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.0 -
1. Pearl Jam

(IMHO, Everyone really should own the White Album, Abbey Road, Revolver and Rubber Soul. Their influence on many PJ songs is unmistakable)
and no reference to my name, shame on you!!!! (lead singer of Sgt Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band)
I've always had a secret crush on you because of that screenname.“Wind in my hair, I feel part of everywhere...
Late at night I hear the trees, they're singing with the dead...overhead...”0 -
