  • Boy, do we ever need Rage Against the Machine now more than ever. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time.

I've been there each of the last two summers for DMB, the shows were great, but the venue isin't ideal. For DMB they had a section of fold up chiars in front and then a big GA lawn behind it. The place is huge, so even if your in the front of the lawn, you feel miles from the stage. The major problem with Randalls is the dust; it's everywhere especially on the lawn. But besides that it's a pretty cool atmosphere.

I heard the New York site is Randal Island... San Francisco is McCovey Park.
Other acts include NAS, Cypress Hill and Public Enemy.
Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

A great friend of mine made the exact same comment a couple weeks ago. That we need that voice again (and not the singing voice, the "political voice" if you will). And it is sooo true.
