Talking about PJ in NZ, what about The Rock Top 100. Nevermind at No. 1 and Ten at a lowly No. 4. I guess it was predicatable. The DJ said something like he couldn't even believe it got that high!
  • kia ora, New Zealanders! I'll be on holiday in your fair country in January. I am hoping that Eddie and the boys will decide to kick off the new album with a January tour of NZ...ok, I know the chance of that happening is beyond slim to none, but I can dream, can't I?

Yeah It's like some of those guys on the rock have got something against pearl jam. They all love Metallica, GnR, ACDC but when it comes to pearl jam they are somehow not good enuf for the rock. I emailed Tracey and suggested they have a pearl jam count down like the seattle station. She said it sounded like a good idea. I wonder if her boss thinks the same thing?

The Rock play as much Pearl Jam as they do anything else. When Rearviewmirror came out they went to town big time for like a month.

To the guy coming from Seattle. The chances are actually pretty good, PJ are rumoured to be touring Australia in January so you never know!

  • LOL, it's OK! Just a little shy at first.. give me a little time to warm up to you, it'll be fine. :D

And thanks, bazzer- I knew a Kiwi would do right by me.

Now my joke's backfired... I'm not actually sure I can put you up (anyway, it depends how hot you are, right?). But if you're staying in Auckland and really are stuck, I'm sure I could sort something out. When are you coming?

I just want to get in on the show if PJ plays- I actually have a place to stay in Wellington, if they do end up hitting New Zealand- I'm just joking, too. Although it would be fun to meet my NZ pals in real life.. No worries! :)

And I have a friend with 2 homes in Oz, so I really ought to start saving my pennies for a plane ticket..

But my dream would be PJ in NZ. And it looks like I wouldn't be the only one from Seattle to try to make it to the show...;)

For some reason, I didn't pick up on the joke! I really thought you were about to leave for a trip to NZ!
If PJ hits NZ, then for sure you can stay with us (or at the very least meet up)! We're planning on also going to Wellington and maybe a couple of shows in Oz, so it would be fun to hook up for some shows. Do you have a good 10C number? ;)
  • It's *sorta* good- 151xxx. Not too bad. And I imagine that there wouldn't be too much competition for the front in a tiny place like NZ, right? I had a lower # but, crazy kid that I was, I let it lapse, never thinking about seniority or anything like that. Oh,well. I usually get pretty good seats. :)

Mine's 213xxx. I don't know any other 10C members, but last count there were about 70 in NZ :) I guess it depends what their policy will be on overseas members and tickets. Even if it was open, I wonder how many people would fly out to NZ from US or even Oz.
  • Yeah, that's why I think it would be so much fun- and that they haven't been there for so long- everyone willl go nuts!! :D
