Black Solo

in what key/scale is mike's solo in black? i know the first few bars, during the "i know someday you'll have a beautiful life..." but after that i can never improv anything that sounds good. it sounds like shit improving in an e minor pentatonic for most of the solo, but it sounds ok at other times. anyway any help appreciated.
