I know Pj is rumored to play during he DNC in denver..... But I doubt they would be playing AT the dnc in denver.... the pepsi center is reserved for the DNC aug 25-28.

wikipedia says this place holds only 1427 people.
That doesn't jive with the other venues on the list.0 -
None of these dates appear to make any sense, but I still like seeing them!0

where there's smoke, there's fire.. these dates may be completely bogus, but in the past, when we've started seeing stuff like this circulate, it meant something was cooking.
bring on the summer tour baby!i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam0 -

Agreed.
Perhaps there will be news sooner rather than later.

Some gambling and PJ would be an awesome combo. I'm all for it!!0 -
If it is a warm up show, before Bonnaroo it sounds right. I think all these dates are false, however. I see them doing a fan club show, much like the Vic on June 11 in eith Memphis or Nashville.darthvedder wrote:wikipedia says this place holds only 1427 people.

When dates will be released does not depend on EV's solo tour, but on me.
As soon a I buy my June-July Italy trip, THAT's when they'll tell me PJ will be playing MSG, beacon theater or whatever right when I'm overseas ... and the will to show I will always be better than before.0 -

I know they have a huge fan base in Florida.. The problem is it is such a big state and the fan base is so spread out.. Most people I knew in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami didn't even know PJ was still around the last few years.. South Florida is just such a diverse place and I was just saying since they don't have a new album out I just don't see them playing there on this tour.. They know where their biggest concentration of fans are and I think they try and stick to that formula.. I agree though, that show in 04 was crazy.. one of the longest shows I've seen.. I always pray their shows will never end and that one almost didn't.. I hope they do make it to Florida or Atlanta for you and everyone else!!! I'm headed to the West Coast to see the last 5 EV shows.. I'm hoping PJ plays Red Rocks this year.. I'm close to there and the Denver show will probably be the only one I hit this year besides the EV shows..Buy the ticket, Take the ride..

I created a monster here with this thread but it seems to be losing steam. We had a great kick start last night with the (Fake Dates). Fake or not I agree with a few others at least we are getting back to talking bout the tour which was my whole Idea from the get go. DONT STOP Keep coming with it!!!0

those dates show PJ playing at walnut creek on june 10th. well... REM is playing at walnut creek on june 10th. so they're definitely fake. it's a good thing though, for me because mudhoney's also playing in NC on june 10th and i'd hate to miss them.saw things so much clearer0

BeerBaron wrote:That said, these lists are always fun to read. And if the past is any indication of the future, we will see at least 1 or 2 more fake lists before the real one surfaces

If I remember right, they tend to always have close to the right cities though. They may have two or three off, but usually it's pretty close. Which makes me excited (does anyone need me to start my Pittsburgh campaign, again - because I will).Pittsburgh 6/23/06

BeerBaron wrote:That's not necessarily the case. Here is one of the lists that floated around for the 2006 tour, that turned out to be false. Check out how many cities are wrong (italics). And by "wrong" I mean that they didn't get a show at all in 2006. Others got shows but the dates are WAY off in most cases.

Was browsing on the Bonnaroo myspace page, and an interview with Stone was up, abuot the band's carbon footprint.
Does anyone know when this took place? because he clearly states there is an upcoming tour:
...
Q: So your last tour resulted in about 5,700 tons of carbon emissions. How does this tour compare?
A: I think we’re going to be a little lower on this tour. Using the biodiesel’s gonna bring our footprint down considerably because it has about half the carbon output that normal diesel does. And we’re being more efficient in terms of where we’re flying and how we’re doing that. The number of fans going to and from was also part of our calculation -- you know, average fan with a car and maybe two or three people going to the show from 10 or 15 miles away ... I think our carbon footprint’s gonna still be up there, but it’s going to be lower, and we’re gonna keep trying to get it lower every tour, if we can.2004 - 10/1, 10/11
