How about Yankee Stadium before it closes,Im hearing alot of bands are trying to book shows there before it closes in 09...I met Ed there Game 7 yankees/sox 2004 ALCS.....I would take the trip out for a Gorge show...that would be amazing!!
Yankee Stadium sucks. That would be an awful venue for a show.
yeah i got them also.. feel free to debunk, dispute etc.. but they arnt my rumour.. just a strange email, as judd said
6/10 Raleigh NC @ Time Warner Cable Pavillion at Walnut Creek
Not sure if this has been said, but I will debunk the Raleigh show for sure. That date is already reserved for REM playing with Modest Mouse and The national and is confirmed on their website as such. Not debunking the poster, just saying the Raleigh date is incorrect.
Interesting. There are a lot of things that don't make any sense about that tour schedule. ONE show in Boston? ONE MSG show? no Seattle?
The Hartford date and venue also don't jive with what that other guy posted.
I concur. Plus, there are not enough west coast dates on that schedule. Also, the dates are too spaced out. Typically, PJ plays a few back to back, with a few days off (usually one or the most two) between venues. We will just have to wait and see. And of course, Im biased...where is the Gorge shows and Missoula man!
Only thing I've seen on the Message Pit has been wishful thinking by those in the Atlantic City area.

so do we think this announcement is about this tour? or do we think that it's about an ed solo show april 1st, and we still have to wait for tour news?
2006: Hartford
2008: MSG 1, Hartford, Mansfield 2, Ed Solo NYC 1

Hell yea I post on monday and by friday we have some good news. Now to wait and see if the date I was givin was correct. I secretly hope that its wrong cause I could go to another show that day but if its right Im gonna have to see Ed and the boys
I got that list of dates in an email sent to me, as did a heap of other people. I just posted them here, and they've since been debunked, which is what I though originally. Just wait til this week and we will know the real dates.
Oh man that blows. I was hoping that the east coast dates were correct that way i could go on vacation. Anyways Im hoping that dates come tues or weds. I also read somewhere on the boards that PJ will play a surprise show on St Pats day.
Definately hoping for some of those east coast dates as I can't be there before july 7th or so...

Long time PJ fan. I saw the Lollapolooza show from Chicago over a buddy's house last night as we celebrated ST.Paddy's day....pretty cool show. The fireworks going off in the background was a nice touch. Pretty funny with them passing a bottle of wine around to the audience during Crazy Mary.
For the record, I called the Dodge Center in Hartford a few days ago and they acknowledged that they have heard rumors as well but wouldn't confirm a date. So who knows.
Gotta Bad Radio question: What is the song that has a chorus of: "Because I wanted you to know ohh ohh ohh, oh ohh ohh ohh." I'd like to hear it.
Thank you and it's great to be here.
"MMM. Your dirt is my food."

Hi this is my first post but I have been checking these boards for years. Anyway what is up with the tour talks no one seems to be talking bout where PJ will be after Bonaroo. I have a pretty good confirmed date for Hartford.
For those who don't know much about Bad Radio, Eddie Vedder's old band, click the link below. It's worth listening to some audio, including "Homeless."
Since tomorrow marks 6 weeks since the announcement of PJ playing Bonnaroo, I believe that a contractual window has now expired.
If this is true, some bands may now be at liberty to divulge other touring plans this week without damaging Bonnaroo's initial ticket sales push. Cases in point include Metallica and the Raconteurs both announcing tour dates for the summer this week.
Also, this could explain why Ed solo shows on the April Fools tour were marketed and sold as such (a loophole to avoid upsetting Bonnaroo promoters).
I'm just guessing out loud here, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. Guess we'll know tomorrow.

Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Probably the case. I think it will be a VFC kind of tour, only longer than the 2004 one.

Hey, will we ever hear any PJ radio shows again? They were really great in the late 90s.
